    ***** Please note *****

The theatre has chosen not to do this screening and so, unfortunately, we have to cancel this event. All paypalled tickets have been refunded.

    Sounds great, I'm in!

I work sporadically on weekends, so I can't say which one weekend is best for me. If it's 30$, and numbers are low, I'll contribute the money even if I end up not being able to make it.

It'll be interesting to find out how you're getting the prints :)

Depends for me, since I work every other weekend.

November 12 is good, then 26, then Dec 10.

I would be interested too, but whether or not I can make it is up in the air at this point. I usually need at least 2 months notice to book off weekends.

    Umm...

YES! It's difficult to know exactly when would work for me though; except for exams and the like, I'd probably be able to work around any date you pick, although a Saturday would be the best day since I'd have to get myself back and forth from London somehow and I work in London Friday evenings.

Edit: Also, I have a whole bunch of friends who I'm sure would be interested in doing this as well, so if numbers need to be boosted I can spread the word to a few more once we have more details.

If it wasn't about the 200$ it would cost me to get to TO I would so be in.

I really think you should all participate in this great idea of Bathory.

Just make sure she doesn't drug you when you get in the theater so you fall asleep and then she wrap your neck in an explosive collar.
She might even ask you to kill yourselves untill only one remains.

    ^_^

    kidding.

But you really should all participate in this.

Set a date and then we can work towards getting the theatre filled. I am sure this would be no problem.

I'd be in Definately, and I'm probably the only one thats actually use to seeing 6 movies in a row at a movie theatre (thanks to AMC)My dad would probably be interested aswell. One question though, What order do you plan on showing them in? 1,2,3,4,5,6? Or in order of release - 4,5,6,1,2,3?

Sounds fun! I'm in. Only thing is, as far as I know, most of my weekends(I prefer Saturdays to Sundays) in November are free at the moment but I won't be absolutely certain which are not 'til around November. It's a good chance that I'll be busy on the first weekend of November though. I hope some of that made sense. I just woke up and I've got a cold.

I plan on showing the films in numbered order (1-6) :)

There will be breaks between films and I highly recommend bringing pillows, etc!

    if this can help;
It was the original schedule of the Premiere Day I wanted to do for Episode III

    12:00 ? 13:00 Opening of theater
Seating for Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1 hour)
    13:00 ? 15:30 Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (2:30 hour)
    15:30 ? 16:30 Afternoon break
-fans in and out of the theater and afternoon snack (pop and popcorn) dealt with the theater (1 hour)
16:30 ? 19:00 Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2:30 hour)
    19:00 ? 19:30 Supper set up
-Fans moving from the theater to the restaurant 30 minutes
    19:30 ? 23:00 Supper (3:30 hours)
23:00 ? 23:45 Theater Set Up for ROTS
-Fans moving from the restaurant to the theater and seating (45 minutes)
    23:45 ? 12:01 Presentation before the Presentation
-Short thanks to our sponsor, amount of money to be donated, special announcement and presentation of the movie. (15 minutes)
12:01 ? 3:00 Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2:20 hours)

Now, that was for my event and I had a big supper with tons of prizes and raffle and activities, but if you rent the theater, they will usually be willing to throw in at least a meal for a little extra. (Cheaper than you would usually pay... about 5$ less)

So I'm guessing your day would look more something like this:
I gave the movie 2:30 hours for credit time. which can be skipped if you want to save time.
So that's a 15 hours setup and most theaters are open for about 12 hours.
So if the group is at the theater doors at 10:00 and you guys all get in the theater by 10:15 and the movie starts at that time, then:

    10:15 - 12:45 Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (2:30 hour)
13:00 - 15:30 Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2:30 hour)
15:45 - 16:15 Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2:30 hours)
    16:30 - 19:00 Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (2:30 hours)
    19:15 - 21:45 Star Wars Episode V: Empire Strikes Back (2:30 hours)
22:00 - 00:30 Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (2:30 hours)

I hope you don't think I'm stepping on your toes, I've had this information for a lot of time now and it just seems to be a great time to take it out.

Thanks, this info is good to have. Unfortunately we can't make any schedules until the theatre management lets us know what requirements they have.

Bathory, when do you think you will know that? I would suspect that they will require a certain number of people.

Maybe they will want a few people in costume [face_dancing]

I can't be sure. I'm working on this as fast as I can.
As for costume, you're welcome to wear one, but we will be there for roughly 15 hours so I would say skip it, unless you're part of the bathrobe brigade. As I stated above, this is a PRIVATE EVENT. It will NOT be advertised nor open to the public so there's no reason to attract any attention (so sayeth.. well, me... if you'd ever seen me you know why this is funny).

They won't require a certain number of anything, except dollars. I am renting the theatre.
