I should be okay for that but I have to wait until the final exam schedule comes out to make sure since this date falls within my exam period. Since I just have the one I'm hoping I'll get lucky, but could be a few weeks before I know for sure.

Re: Family/friends category, is now the time to start asking around? Is the $35 (movies only) in stone regardless of whether how many people we get total?

For the time being the $35 ticket price is set in stone. If it turns out that we are getting WAAAAAY more people buying tickets than previously anticipated a portion will probably go to charity and the rest will be refunded... or something :)

    (The theatre is $3000 btw)

The theatre is booked and the show is a go so if you want to start asking your kin to come along that's totally cool. I should have the tickets for sale in the next 2 weeks.

Sweet, I'm not working that weekend. So, count me in!

Thanks, Hilary! I don't know how much work you've put into this, but it sounds like an awesome day, so thanks!

    Hi,

Just wanted to confirm, are you obligated to stay for all the films? Or can you come and go as you please? It would help me to know while I try and round up people. I am in for that date.

You're not obligated to stay but the whole point of the event is to watch all 6 in a row... you still have to pay for a full day ticket either way.

Exams shouldn't interfere, so this is awesome news. Since this is private to the groups, do you think we should be trooping?

well, I put in a request for that day off, and since it doesn't look like anyone else has requested it yet, i should have no problems getting it off. I'll probably be there in costume, since I find my costume very comfortable to wear for long periods... could have something to do with the fact that I made it all out of silk/cotton/linen (depending on which piece it is)

I'd rather not sit through a trailer in costume, not to mention all those movies. I meant if theres anything beforehand, but I take it no need since it's a private show and we all know each others costumes.

    Hey there!

So, it is a go, eh? I am thinking of coming down with a couple of my other 501st guys. I guess I better let them know.

I may have missed it, but where is this happening? What theatre are we doing this in? Just curious.

    Elijah - vaderfanforever

By the way....maybe if any of you have a laynard that has your screen name on it, that would be a great way to identify yourself for those people that have not met you!

The theatre info will go up with the tickets. I don't want people harassing the theatre for information because they won't have any.
Many 501st are on here already but I'm sending an email to the list.
