Wow, this is gonna sound like I'm being all opportunistic and crap. ^^;

I was in the lineup for Eps 1 and 2, but being a Daddy and living in Stratford and Brantford prevented me from joining the fun for Episode 3. I was wondering if I could get in on this fun. For those wondering, I'm Kevin, friend of Roupen and stuff! Honest!

I sure am! My son, Gabriel Robert Neville, was born last September. He's currently asleep in his daddy's lap as I type this.

 

I am in, I'll be there all day...I don't live far from there...

Are there going to be people in costume?? I wanna go in threads!

 

It's not a public event so there's really no need to go in costume unless it's something you're burning to do. Also you'll want to be comfortable since it'll be a long day.

 

I like my costume, and I find it very comfortable... as much or more than regular clothing... but then again, it's only a short step from my regular clothing.

 

Bought tickets including food. Have I mentioned that I'm really looking forward to this?

 

well, I'll be in costume!....lightsaber and all! in case anyone wants to duel in the snow!

 

Crap I just found out that I have a competition the next day. And being at the movies all day when I have to cut weight is not a good idea.

The HR dept at work just informed me that I have one day of vacation left that I must use before the end of the year! I had forgotton about that floating day. I usually don't work on Saturdays, but to have the time off between Christmas and New Year's Day, we have to make up a couple of production days on Saturdays. Now I can use that remaining vacation day to cover my Dec 10 shift. So I can now go to the SW movie marathon.

Is there a deadline for the tickets? I am coming from out of town so I was hoping to buy them that day. But I can arrange something if need be. Furthermore, what are the prices?

Well, thanks to one of my profs being odd and holding his final exam in class time, I have an 8 day gap between exams with the 10th right in the middle. So I can actually make it. Now to get the ticket...

 

Finally got an email from PayPal today telling me they had fixed my account (there was a link I was supposed to follow to fix it, but it took me to the wrong page)

Now I can get MY ticket!

 

Can I post this info on the Rochester FanForce board? I don't know if anyone will be crazy enough to make the drive, but maybe...
