I can sort of weld im not great at it but im good enough for what we probably need and i have access to an arc welder.

 

An arc welder helps.

I will have to design this thing now.

I think I know who to ask.

ok, consulting with a friend who is an architech.

a base of steel will be used. Basically its a patio with two levels. it will be big but not too big.

My brother-in-law has a mig welder, and he may be nice enough to let us borrow it. My dad has a compressor (hot rodders are cool, hey?) too, and maybe some other things that could be useful

Oh, and I meant to add that I have loads of space on my site, coz I have 1000 MB of space and I currently only use about 50 MB. So, I have loads of room I love taking progress pics of stuff

 

so, are you coming over here while A-D is in the US, Beez?
