Nat: as long as you were the person that started the thread you can go back and edit any subject you want (only on the WA boards though). You can also lock or unlock a thread without having to hassle the mods using the same method (something I recently discovered). Or you can ask HawkNC really nicely if he'll do it for you.

 

Ahhhh! All is making sense now. I didn't know how to do smilies until they put a taskbar or whatever it is in the reply section. I'm totally dumb

 

Do people really not look at all the links at the top of the page? Where it says Faces, Help and Markup Codes? And we even made a whole thread welcoming new people to the boards and discussing terms and how to use faces and everything (which, looking at it, really needs to be updated).

 

And when I attempted to use it, it didn't work. The simplest things are a complete mystery to me when it comes to computers.

I figured that I'd update the "Welcome" thread. Hopefully that'll help any newcomers. I reckon we can keep updating it as the need arises. Jawa, is it possible to update the link at the top of the page to point to the latest version of the thread?

In your first post for this thread there should be an "Edit Message" option (as long as you are logged in). Just click on that and change the subject to whatever you want it to be.
