Syra, NY SALT CITY JEDI RULES!!!!!!!

Mike here... no one probably remembers me except for strawbary... I been so busy up until recently... it seems that I have hit a slight bump in the road... and I am currently unemployed... I have wheels in motion and hopefully I will be back working again before the holidays... the real reason i am posting this is...
Just kinda checkin in.... any events or anything coming up? has everyone seen the trailer for episode 3 yet? OMG I am soooooooooooooooo excited about it... this is gunna be the best star wars movie ever... and after that we can have the 15 hr 6logy parties which would be each movie back to back.... ooo ahhhhh.... *falls over*

Why is the Syracuse chapter called Salt City

 

Because Syracuse was once called the "salt city" because it had a massive ammount of salt produced via salt mines. It used to be the number one export in the 19th century. It's a historical reference really that only a few people would get.
