I plan on pulling out in the U-Haul on the 14th. According to Mapquest it's a 20 hour 59 minute drive from my current address to my new one. (I'll give you a call when I'm close to Utah)

I have been a frequent visitor to Salt Lake, and was on hand for the Salt Lake Olympics.....the folks from Utah did such an outstanding job as hosts for the 2002 Winter Olympics....I never heard a cross word from any of the volunteers that helped....there was just such a great amount of joy and good cheer from everyone I met....

 

If I'm in town I'll help move as well, good luck with the drive.

I have to apologize, I have a really awful 'thing' (not quite sure what it is yet) on my computer and I've been noticing that some of my posts have unauthorized links in them. Until further notice I will not be putting hypelinks in posts, so if you see that something is linked, DO NOT CLICK ON IT. I was rereading through an old post of mine and I saw the link and though, "hm, what is this?". It is spam and that is all. I'm going to be 'cleaning' my puter this week (pulls out box of bootleg software, yep all there) and hopefully will be back to normal by monday. I'll let you all know when its safe to 'go back home' again.

oh! You guys will never guess what I saw on the freeway the other day! I was driving on I-80 west and I saw one of those "Adopt a freeway" signs, and you will never guess who had adopted it: USS Kelly, A Star Trek Fan Club.
I was thinking to myself, "I wonder if I'm the only one in the FF who would want to adopt a stetch of freeway...". It's honestly something that I've always wanted to do

 

Sounds cool...But wouldn't you have to keep it clean?...Like all the time?

 

I think it is set up so that once or twice a month you clean it up; which is mostly just blow out tire parts and taco bell bags.

 

Ohhhh...Well that doesn't sound bad at all.

 

It's twice a year clean up job. They supply the bags and the vests for people to wear.

 

If we did it, not to say that we would, but wouldn't if be funny to do it in costume!

 

Of course those vests aren't reall there so people can see you. They're actually flak jackets to stop small peices of metal thrown from cars from killing you.

 

My costumes are too hard to clean.
