Well Fox has extended their arm up here, thank the force in this case, but it's difficult to get your kind of programming. We sadly have something called CRTC which regulates what we see. Damn them. I just wish I could get the WB with cable TV.
Il ne faut pas oublier les fameuses robes. Pour la programmation je ne saurais si c'est la même chose. De toute façon, je suis arrangé pour avoir une bonne dose de sci-fi.
Oui, le WB est vraiment bien. Quel j'aime beaucoup est le channel de Science Fiction. Les films sont amusant est quelquefois les programs faire tu as peur! Why does the CRTC regulate? Is it a censorship issue or American T.V. in general?
To make a short story, the CRTC make sure that canadian channels and contents is well represented in the TV offering. For example, when you choose which channel you want, half of it has to be canadian. There is also french radio that has to broadcast a fixed ratio of french songs. So is the CRTC doing.
I believe it's a good thing to give a home field advantage to our artist and broadcaster against foreign juggernauts. I love my culture, but let's be realistic. Canadian TV budget are nowhere near some countries' budget. If it comes to brawn we are more than likely to be on the losing end. The downside of it is when you want something not canadian, you have to get as much canadian stuff beside it. This can be a problem if you're limited in the number of choices.
