The time for officer nominations is here, listed below are the club members that received nominations at the August meeting. Nominations are open for the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer positions. Officer Nominations will continue until the September meeting. Nominations can either be posted or sent to Jacob (Lord Dubi) in a PM. All nominations need a 2nd to be eligible to run.

Ladies and Gentlemen

Though it pains me massively to both (a) do anything like Darth Brian and (b) have to decline (but mainly "a") I must also decline the kind nomination.

Though I am very flattered and grateful for the honor of a nomination, at the present time, between work, a start-up, buying a house, running the meetup group CAPE (California Association of Pop-culture Enthusiasts) and working on my R2 unit, I'm not even able to make every Fan Force meeting, let alone have the bandwidth to give the post the attention that it deserves.

If and when life calms down a bit in future years, then I'll be glad to do my "civic duty" so-to-speak.

so am unopposed for VP, Yikes
I am kinda in the same boat as the other who turn down their decline the nomination. I work two jobs, 6 days (maybe 7 days cause my rent went up) a week plus my freelance gig.
but i will accept my nomination, cause i dont want to see the Fanforce "die" like the RenFaire Guild i was in.

 

Yeah, I'm getting there too, working at an (almost) fulltime job now, and will possibly starting another part-time gig in the following weeks, plus a handful of other clients are keeping me busy with freelance projects on the weekends. I love it because its all graphic art work , but it does cut away free time
