The Chargers Fanfest is on Saturday.

    From the official site:
Fanfest 2009 will take place at Qualcomm Stadium on Saturday beginning with the autograph session at 10:15 and practice immediately after from 11-1 p.m. Parking and admission are free. The parking lot will open at 8 a.m. and stadium gates at 9:30 a.m. FanFest will feature the debut performance of the 2009 Charger Girls and the debut of the 2008 season Charger highlight film, followed by an opportunity for autographs. Free interactive games will be located on the plaza concourse and concession stands will be selling hot dogs and soft drinks for $1.00 each.

An autograph opportunity has been set aside at Chargers Fanfest on Saturday, Aug. 8 for kids 14-and-under only beginning at 10:15 am.

    *********************
I'm fairly certain several FF members will be attending. Say hello if you spot me. I'll be the one wearing a Tomlinson jersey, carrying a camera, and giving dirty looks to people wearing non-Charger jerseys.

If you have a 14-and-under kid I could borrow to snag an autograph, let me know. We could do a swap--your kid for a blue and gold Tooka Doll.[face_mischief]

BTW, here's a link to the 2009 schedule. Officers should consult it before scheduling meetings.

Blow you and your Tooka dolls. Where's my Malcom Floyd amigurumi?

Regarding Chargers' schedule, however, what she said.

Edgar's daughter is under 14... though I'm fairly certain he's going to be dragging her down there anyway to get his. [face_laugh]

i want it to be cooler - it was pretty hot today. what a day to be painting indoors... (been helping my brother paint his room at my parents' house in order to rid his room of mildew. turns out that we couldn't just paint the acoustic popcorn ceiling.. it started disintegrating, and needed an asbestos removal team to come remove it. ethanol-based primer... what a fine fume!

At least you don't have to worry about your ceiling catching fire while you die from some debilitating disease.

Rita's one of my favorite villains. And it's a costume that I would love to attempt someday.

I'm thinking about adding this godless killing machine to my Life Day wish list. It's on sale at Costco for $699.99

    Pros
It would look great in my hunting lodge.

    Cons
    I don't have a hunting lodge.

    What do you think?
