San Diego, CA San Diego Rocket Race - November 10th (date changed!)

Here's the latest news on the 2007 San Diego Rocket Race!

This year's theme is "Time Warp!"
And to help get you in that time-travelin' mood, we've gotten the race to travel through time one week later - the race will now be on Saturday, November 10, 2007. (Yup, that means you get a whole week to recover from the Autism walk! no more schedule conflict!)

Starting location:
The Green Flash (sculpture) at Mission Beach / Belmont Park
at the west end of Ventura Place, just north of Belmont Park & the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster)

Starting time:
9:00 am

Entry fee:
$25 per team. A team can be from 2-4 people.

We are also looking for a set of volunteers to help out on race day. If you're interested in helping out, just drop us a line.

reminder: the registration deadline is November 5th.

 

Are the fires effecting this potentially or no?

 

the race is still happening. i doubt that the fires will be much of a hindrance to racers by november 10th. come on down!
