I've come across many Shark fans across these Boards. Some of whom actually live in the San Francisco Bay Area.

You can count me as one. Used to live in SF, then moved to a suburb. Go Sharks!

I couldn't believe the Ducks (the top team in the entire league) was SHUT-OUT by the Coyotes (the worst team in the West).

Cheechoo, Thornton, and Marleau are still at the top of the list of Western Conference forwards on the All-Star ballot (as of 12-26-2006).

Sharks are only 4 points away from catching the Ducks at the top of the Pacific Division. Come on, Sharks! [face_praying]

San Jose also has two games in hand over Anaheim. Things are really looking up for the boys in teal! I'm going to the game against the Blues on Sat. Let's see another win!

I'll be rooting them on from up here in Davis, that's for sure[face_dancing] ...

(After all, I originally come from the Bay Area (East Bay)...:D )

But seriously, not only are the Sharks only 4 points back with 2 games in hand, but they have five games to go against Anaheim. Things are looking up indeed, especially if Cheechoo were to suddenly get hot...

QFT, especially when you put 31 SOG and don't even get a goal to show for it...[face_plain][face_frustrated]

Still, they've got the All-Star break coming up. Look for them to be fresh and ready to go for the second half.

Really? If I had known that I would've watched it. :p

Even though you're not in the Bay Area, it's good to have you with us. :)

    Go SHARKS!

I'm from the BA but now live in Worcester, Ma home of the Worcester Sharks (SJ's AHL team).

Gotta love NHL Center Ice so I don't miss any Sharks action. Gave up on the Sunday Ticket. I'm pretty close to hanging up my Raiders hat.....

    go Sharks!

Awesome. San Jose pulled Matt Carle back up but Bernier's still in Worcester, right?

I really wish Marleau would've won Fastest Skater in the Skills Competition. He missed it by 3/100ths of a second!

Bernier is still here and would seem he'll stay here. He skates lazy at times. I'm going to the game tonight so I'll post more.....

Loved seeing Cheechoo, Marleau and Thornton out there on the same line at the All-Star Game. I'm glad the coaching staff made the switch.

With the win against Edmonton, the Sharks are within 2 points of leading the Pacific Division. [face_dancing]

Nice :D . Hopefully they can tie points with Anaheim on Sunday and pass them withing the week. After that, maybe they can get Cheechoo to go on a goal-scoring binge or something...

    Specterace

(BTW, not that it's going to happen or anything, but how good would Perer Forsberg {assuming he's mostly healthy} be on this team, especially on the Power Play?!?!?)

Sharks managed to thwart the Ducks in Anahiem after losing to them in San Jose. [face_dancing]

I was very pleased to see the Sharks split this series with Anaheim. At the very least, San Jose needs to keep pace with the Ducks over the last two months of the season.

They can't fall too far behind, because the Stars are waiting to pass them in the Standings. Plus, the Wings will pull further ahead as well.

True, but for the playoffs, the difference between 4th and 5th place comes down to home ice. And the Sharks have proven this year that they can win in Detroit.
