I don't and I can't agree with you, because it's simply not true.

Well Corruption really was ridiculous... but i don't really like the previously established canon anyway so i don't really care- i have seen and read many eu-stories that i would consider somewhat "ridiculous"... if this show will get back on track after few stupid episodes i'm happy with it... Savage Oppress has funny name but he may be the thing that saves us from Joogan fruits and Moogan Tea.... what next.... something important like poisoned Toogan coffee or lost Voogan berries...

We've been told so many strange things about this whole Opress deal... Lucas told us he was Maul's brother, Dave (or someone) said that Ventress and the Nightsisters controlled him... I just have to wonder if they aren't doing some amazing work of misdirection in order to really surprise us with whatever Savage's role really turns out to be. I mean, I think they knew that this whole season was riding on Savage's back, cause other than the premiere episodes, they really don't seem to have much to offer. So could it be that they have purposefully lied or misled us in order to throw us a left punch out of nowhere?

Probably not. But wouldn't it be awesome? I would personally love if these guys got in the habit of flat out lying to us in these press conferences and stuff. This way we could never really know what to expect, never be sure of what was to come. George said he'll never include Aurra's Jedi past in the show? Well, he might have been lying! Dave said a young Han Solo could make an appearance? Oh, he was probably just pulling our leg.

I think we get too much information nowadays. There's this whole anti-secrecy culture going on where we feel we MUST be told half of the things that are coming up or else we feel cheated by the producers. It's all just very silly and counter productive for our enjoyment of these things.

I agree about being told too much. I mean, Insider ruined the Lolo Purrs reveal, and the S2 preview ruined Tal Merrick. How about some more secrecy? [face_tired]

I have similar thoughts, though less "deliberate misdirection" and more "a combination of poor word choice and a lack of communication between different parts of the team."

For example, I have my doubts about Savage literally being Maul's brother, but maybe something else like "he is so similar he may as well be his brother", "from the same background and training", "brothers by friendship" or even "they are from the same species."

As far as I know, the only thing that says that Savage is Maul's brother is an off-hand comment by GL, while the preview clips just use the vague term "another of his kind."

For whatever "his kind" means. I am tempted to just say Zabraks, but providing one of those would hardly be a feat as we have seen several in the show. So instead I will guess "his kind" means the same training center as all those Zabraks in black armor and with axes in the trailer.
Who they are is still a mystery.

It seems that preview clips are selected to be most spoiling ones possible- Almec's betrayal and Ziro's death were both ruined by reviews- and then guy named "I am gonna die" and his destiny was revealed -for those who didn't get his name- in one clip released before the episode(and Filoni spoiled Dao's name too)- i think secrets revealed means "spoilers before episodes" then[face_tired]

Don't viewers have to sign a contract saying they will not spoil anything? I know it probably will mean nothing, but... yeah, it means nothing. Fans will
    be fans.

They'll just scroll their eyes to the end of paper and sign it with X. Just like everything else.
But yes, we will have spoilers. Our black bars can't repel against our own curiosity.

I hate that all that stuff was spoiled! All that substance went to waste!

Sure it's the fan's decision to watch preview clips but preview clips are supposed to show "previews", not plot revelations!

The only suprise-suprise that got me was Argyus's betrayel. I knew he was going to die since a preview clip had it() but I didn't know he would be a traitor. I think that's why people liked Argyus. His plot was almost executed well...

I am not going to look a spoilers! I've learned the hard way that this show does not work if you spoil yourself, especially since the surprises
aren't all that shocking to begin with.

I will, however, read opinions so I know whether or not to get my hopes up.

It would be totally awesome and hilariously ironic if Obi-Wan were to cut this guy in half also, but this time from head to crotch instead of in half at the waist.

It would be even better if he managed to cut Oppress down with Asajj standing immediately next to him:

Obi-Wan: Two in one go! Never tell me the odds!

    [face_laugh]

I'm against the idea of Obi-Wan killing him- this time it's Anakin's turn- or Asajj's maybe- Obi-Wan has killed enough bad guys already- Maul, Grievous and he turned Durge to purple juice- technically killing him once- Obi-Wan defeating Savage would be unimaginative and I'm pretty sure it's Anakin's turn this time...

And in few years he'll kill Dooku. But why should they always get all the fun? There are people lurking behind them in almost every poster. One for them, finally.
    Palpatine: Finish him Anakin!
Anakin: Mm... no, not this time. Kit!
    Kit: Yes?
Anakin: You can kill this one.
Kit: Can I? Oh, this is too much. My eyes have tears.

I always wondered how Anakin in Ep3 would have matched up against Maul.

Also does any one else thing that the Chosen One prophecy will be explored in this Savage arc just because it deals with the dark side and all that? I know it would be a lot to fit in but I could see it happening.

I suspect he would have wiped the floor with Maul. Anakin was at the height of his powers, beat the Sith Lord Dooku pretty much single handedly after Obi Won got whalloped, and had "Main Character" protection to boot.

Hummm... "Forged by the darkest sorcery". I guess that confirms that Savage at least gets a "power up" during that green light ritual. I'll wager the small-horned zabrak becomes the hulking Savage.

And I don't think I like this very much...

Anakin has killed far more "bad guys" then Obi-Wan. And technically Obi-Wan didn't "kill" Durge at all. It was really no different then when he hacked him in half. Anakin did kill Durge. Obi-Wan has killed:

    Taxer Sundown
    Maul
    Granta Omega
    Rashtah
    Keluda
    Xerius Ugg
    Stang
    Grievous.
Then random individuals like the Death Watch warriors.

    Anakin has killed:

The Neimodian bridge crew on the Droid Control Ship
    Krayn
    Ke Daiv
    Cydon Prax
    Saato
    Trenox
    Karoc
    Vinoc
    Vandalor
    Trench
    Tal Merrik
    Durge
    Dooku
    The Entire Separatist Council
    Random Individuals like Geonosians

And I'm sure a whole lot more, just those are the only ones I can think of.
Also remember the Second Battle of Geonosis. Obi-Wan didn't fight at all except slowing down a few zombies by cutting them down (Not killing them obviously) Anakin killed live Geonosians left and right during the landing, and I bet he is going to kill Cad Bane too, and your probably right, that he will kill Savage, so it looks like you might get your wish.
