Is Talzin holding a lightsaber?
Haha, technically no, because that's not supposed to be Mother Talzin, it's "Nightsister." But yes, the single lightsaber is in front of "Nightsister" in the package. That Savage Opress single I have only has an axe, so I put the one from the combo pack in the stand with the double. There's another Savage Opress single I don't have that has the outfit of the one in the combo pack and comes with the double-lightsaber.
Why do Star Wars figures always look so ****?
I actually was a pretty big collector of Doctor Who figures when I was younger, and they were always made to look like they weren't skeletons, and you couldn't see the frakking arm joints.
That's why I've never bought SW figures. I have hope for the new Black line, they actually look like some effort has been put into them.
I have those as well. Actually, our collections of Savage merchandise are exactly the same right now...unless you count this LEGO set I have that includes a Savage minifigure:
Here's a few other things I've found online in addition to that wristband thing:
I'm not quite sure if the mousepad and t-shirt are officially licensed, but they're cool regardless. There's also a Savage Halloween costume out there that includes a cheap plastic lightsaber, but I'm a bit too old for it.
My kids have that Lego speeder. I got to help them build it.
I have the lego clock. I actually have Savage, Maul and a stormtrooper in different places around my house.
Of the items I posted above, the only ones I'm interested in are the t-shirt, cardboard cutout, and maybe the poster. The rest are kinda...meh. Especially that Savage/Donald Duck hybrid monstrosity at the bottom.
I had a couple Savage wrist band things but I mailed them in the petition letters. =X
I've got the Maul/Talzin/Savage action figure pack but I never opened it, which is very rare since I usually open all my figures.... In fact my Dad got it for me as a surprise. Now I think i'll keep it nice and packaged forever... Really like it.
It's a shame we'll never see a new Maul figure or even a Savage with a robot arm.
Lucky, I tried to find that to Aussie, but I couldn't find it anywhere, so I'm just gonna buy the new Maul and Savage single pack figures.
I know he got it at target, a while back now actually. Probably around July-September. I remember it was still the summer. I don't think they're at the stores anymore at this time but who knows. some day this week Ima go out to see which figures I can stalk down, havent gotten any in a few months
I still see dozens of the three-packs at Target.
Y'know, I wonder if Disney is going to let Hasbro keep making figures...
Magic should have never been introduced into Star Wars. Leave that to Harry Potter.
You're probably right, I might as well buy up the whole store before they're gone.
What other company would do it?
I haven't bought action figures in awhile but I know Disney-owned franchises have them.
What do you call The Force?
I've always imagined IRL Joe Smith who works in the call center for Galactic Farm Insurance would look at a Jedi lifting stuff and thing, 'magic!' So, yeah...
I don't want to be that guy, but Midichlorians.
I thought the Force was the old winged grandpa and his OPed family:
...why does the Son have hooves?
You seem forlorn, Fanboy. Here, have a picture of a kid in a Savage mask:
I'm guessing that's a reference to the Christian portrayal of the Devil, who is said to have hooves like a goat, so the Son is probably an analogue to the Prince of Darkness.
