Jaina could not understand it. How could he? There should not be a way for him to reach her. She had purposely distances herself for everyone. There was no way he could see to the very core of who she was. And yet there he was, in her mind, in her heart, standing there - arm out stretched. As if he would lead her back.

She felt that her soul, her entire being was asleep. She walked in a trance. Her one hearts desire, to avenge the death of her brother. Til he stood there. He was willing to go against everything and pull her back.

He showed her that there was more to life than the vengeance she wanted. He jumped in when no one would and found her at the center of the storm her life had become. For that she was grateful. For that she loved him.

He was the only life amongst the dead that she had seen. Everywhere those she loved seem to die. Anakin. Jacen. It became to much for her to bear. Alone, she would cry, hot tears sliding down her face. Only alone did she do this. In public she was strong. In public she was something entirely different. But he had seen through that. He chose to see through that.

?I will,? a deep voice said from behind.

She spun. There he stood, arms opened, in a silent gesture. She rushed into his loving embrace, burying her face into his broad chest.

?I?ll always save you,? he whispered into her ear.

Hmmm, i think I liked the idea of this, but I think you liked the idea of the song more than the fic. Or better said, the song reminded you of that scene.

Which is good, but there's so few text and so much song text. This doesn't make it a fic, but more or less a topic.

I think you should work this idea out to a longer fic, using that song.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to bring this fic down, but just giving you advice.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to bring this fic down, but just giving you advice. I wrote this how I saw it in my mind. *shrugs* I don't think I can make it longer. I can understand what you are saying but I'm not so sure I can do that. If something comes to me I'll update this.
