ON Save the States!

This is a way for Canadians to help save the U.S from the Republican dictators who have come to power. I am American, and I know many Canadians were disappointed in our recent election. This was a disgrace to all democracy all over the world, and international tourists must help save us from ourselves. UNfortunately, the only way to do this is to not spend money in the US anymore. The only way we'll ever get rid of BUsh is if our economy goes bad, and you can help that. Maybe this sounds like treason, but a serious economic downturn will help us take back our country in four years. I ask you to cut down on travel to the US and cut down on the purchase of major items such as cars and electronics made in the States. We must not let Bush have a second term. Thank you and HAppy New Year's.

Well, my goal is to help get rid of Bush and fast. The only way to do this, as I said, is if the economy goes really sour. But why boycott the states before this, though? I'm curious.

 

Cuz I'm a communist, and not very big on Free Trade arrangements.

What a bunch of BS! Bush is exactally what the US needs right now. Hopefully he car regain any shreds of dignity that joke Clinton left after compleatly trashing the Presidency. And I have also lived in Canada for three years. I know for a fact the socialistic approach the Canadian government takes towards heathcare and education would not work at all in the US.
If Canadians don't want to support the US economy in any way, fine. But don't be upset when the US withdraws its protective arm from Canada. With out the US what will happen?

(Please don't hate me for this, I just feel that when a US citizen doesn't support their government ,regardless of who is running it, is quite sad. Remember ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country. And by boycotting the US it is not going to help the US or Canada.)

JediWarrior: I think communism is a great idea, it's just that it really didn't work out because some really greedy people took advantage of the system. And as long as greedy people exsits communism will never work.

 

Sure, the only thing I'm curious is why you lurk at a forum with a total of 33 posts, when you don't even live in Canada? That is a tough question!

 

I had a friend that used to post here, and I wanted to see if he had come by lately.

Maybe I also just wanted to see if there was anyone who lives where I used to live. Then I notice this thread and I couldn't help but put in my two cents.
