Solo Saving Capt. Solo... from a certain point of view...

Ok..... So I'm not a big fan of the idea of the Han Solo spinoff, mostly because we have already seen a young Han Solo, and it was Harrison Ford. I, personally, don't like to the idea of diluting the image of Han Solo away from the iconic likeness of the character, which is... again..... Harrison Ford.

But.....

There have been a few examples of theories and speculation about the film that could/would possibly make me a little more open to the idea. These are basically ideas that perhaps Harrison Ford does appear in the film as older Han, and basically narrates or leads into a story from his past. Another one I kinda like is the idea of Lando (Billy Dee) recounting a story to someone at Han's funeral....

So the question I ask you in this thread is this:

If you are not thrilled with the idea of a Han Solo spinoff, what would open you up more to the idea?
