Saying "Good Bye" :(

As sad as it is, I have to say good bye!
I'm going to book my flight tomorrow morning (have no possibility to print right now) and be back in Austria on Thursday
but leaving the country means not that I'll stop to post here ... my dad has still a compy even when I don't have a working one right now (the graphic card screwed up somehow and have no internet connection on it .. bad thing huh? )
I managed to clear up all the stuff today. Actually I intended to do some things tomorrow too but ... all done ... now the only remining thing is to pack my suitcase and bring all the stuff to friends I don't take home with me.
Will also ask my housemate if she gives me a lift to Stockport in the morning if not .. then I'll have to take the bus and train.

Tim: thanks for the warm welcome here on this side and the encouragement to come to the meet in Liverpool. And also a huge thanks for coming to Manchester and see with me the Lowry and the Imp. War Museum. And for this awesome time in Southport.

I'm living practically in the last valley of the alps
aye Mountains you know .. very high like 2000 m and more ... but's a bit of a journey to get there ... but's not so bad ... around 5 hours in the car and you are in Tyrol and in only 3 hours in the heart of Salzburg
and you don't need the Milka cows .. you just need to go into a store .. there is enough Milka

 

i'll have to finish all of the fruity tea by myself now (that isn't, as some would have you believe, my biggest regret)

what's weird is that i got robbed on saturday as well, i'm beginning to see a pattern there. but yeah, i'll stay. i'll have to sort that out with the bank this afternoon

it was a bad weekend!

I got a notice from the police that someone broke into the neigherbours house, and today I was told that someone broke into the house of a university mate!
I know now too many people where someone broke in

i'm not even sure it got knicked actually now that i've been to the bank. there haven't been any withdrawals. but i can't think it simply fell down and no one saw it.

so, i don't know.

and: i don't have an accent!!!!!!!!

 

Hehe, I dropped my cards in Marks and Spencer in Lancaster once - didn't realise, thought I'd had them stolen. Report it, etc. etc. Two weeks later, Marks and Spencer rang me up (I had a store card with them ) and said they had found my cards that morning during a stock take lol

Phew! Although I'd cancelled them all by then.

 

it'd be weird not to even try to pay with the credit card. but yeah, whatever, i've had them cancelled and everything. they'll send new ones and i'm grumpy i had to spend a whole weekend in london without being able to pay for a single little thing.

Yesterday saw Maggy staying overnight with us and this morning we said goodbye and left her at Terminal 2, Manchester Airport.

Alas, we had to rush off as hubby had to be in work for around 9

Maggy - thank you for the towels - we always need new ones

 

when you stay over in a hotel aren't you supposed to steal the towels not leave more

Did you pack our ferrets in your suitcase with you by any chance? One of our ferrets is missing....arghhhhhhhhhhh! (no wonder you left the towels! lol)
