Come one, come all, it's time to play Scattergories! (... except if only one person comes, then they automatically win, and if everyone comes... well, there's not enough spots!) The basic premise of the game is that players are given a list of twelve categories and a letter. Players then have to write down something in that category that starts with the chosen letter. Players get a point for each correct answer, but if they have the same thing as someone else, neither gets a point for that category. For example: The chosen letter is "A". Categories included are fruit, TV characters and JC board users. Player 1: Fruit: apples TV character: Astro (The Jetsons) JC user: AmazingB Player 2: Fruit: apricot TV character: Amy Pond (Doctor Who) JC user: AmazingB Player 1 and Player 2 both score two points, and neither are awarded a point for the JC user category. The answers have to be something well-known or easily found on the Internet. For things like fictional characters, names of books/movies/etc, names of authors and the like, links to wikipedia or another source are helpful. If the host can't find the answer after a quick search, you lose the point. Points can also be lost if the answer doesn't fit the category. For example, the category is Monsters and a player puts down "Santa". Names of people can be either first or last, but no person can have a title count in their name (example: King Edward cannot be used for "K"). Players have 48 hours to fill up their sheets and PM the answers to the host. The host will then post the answers and count up points. The game runs for 3 rounds. At the end of the 3 rounds, the winner gets 24 hours of bright, shiny colours. Late lists will not be counted. All answers must be PMed at the same time to the host. No partial lists or corrections. After sign-ups, the host will post the categories and the letter. Let's get started! Scattergories Sign-Up 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.
