LOL! [face_laugh] Me too especially cause I go for just a few brands (Nature's Farm, Ginkgo 2000) which are quite ex. And swallowing 2 pills after each meal is a bit hard as Omega 3 gel capsules tend to absorb water easily(can't carry more than just for the day to school). Morning worse, must swallow 4, some times kiasu do 6! After taste of the Omega 3 is another thing also!

LOL! This is what happened when you eat the same old things at home. :(

For the fish, it's only applies to those fishes from "Cold Climate" like Cod & Salmon, and a very few ex ones from our deep sea. They contain Omega 3 and some other stuffs (technically called Fish Oil) including RNA (I think!) which helps blood circulations, help to prevent heart diseases and helps the brain cells to store info. ;) But the cost is always the problem.

    DE,
U referring to Ikan Kurau, issit??
    The "LKY fish" thingy...

At the moment, I'm only taking Gingko, and having HUGE doses of Green Tea and Nescafe Blend 37 coffee - haha! :)

Also, getting some rest/breaks in between the studying really helps too - keeps the mind fresh, so it can carry on with the studies.

Usually, I find it hard to get down to things... but once I start, I can concentrate for long periods of time and be very focused...

Decided to cover 7 topics tonight, and to do them well... probably the smarter way to go anyways... :)

Yup, yup commander! :) I just know it by the Malay name and when it's in pieces, donno what's its English name even after taking that Aquaculture Module.

Me like you too, hard to sit down to do something but once I do like now processing all my scanned photos, I just can't stop!

Well, good luck for your paper this morning, JediJean! Hope you'll do well for it! ;)

    right back to schoooool.......

****, i miss those days, man! Sec 4 was wicked sia! never bother to study for O's still get agg. of 21! heheh. btw, poly life sucks ass, not least coz of the attitude of the students, which in itself is a misnomer coz study is something they rarely do. don't you just hate the cool crowd?

anyways, enjoi your school life guys, and make the most of it, coz that's where the foundations to your life are set. the friendships forged, the hearts broken, the joy, the grief the jubilation. don't waste a minute of it.

sheesh, old man at 23. that's me

deathbunny - I think you just depressed a few people by calling yourself old when you're 23. :D j/k lah. :p And welcome to Singapore FanForce :D

I eat salmon and cod occasionally, and I quite like them. Ginseng soup isn't too bad either. Pills are okay, but I'd rather eat the 'real' thing. :p

    Life after BMT?

Everyone will be posted to Units as someone lor...

If you are signaller, you'll go to School Of Signals for course 1st... then go units.

If Infantryman, will go for course too...

Mechanics, drivers, rifleman, medics, storeman blah blah will go course, but clerks need to go for only 1 day course only...

Of course, if you are those elite recruits in BMT, then it's either welcome to SISPEC for another 3 mths in Tekong to become Specialists (3SG) or Welcome to SAFTI MI for your OCS at Jurong to become Officer (2LT)...

BEST ADVICE: Act blur and dun become a hero in BMT, then when you POP (Passing Out Parade from Tekong), go for some course, get Gold for IPPTs, rot till your ORD and then juz before ORD, get a downgrade! Hmm... why it sounds so familiar... :D

    ENJOY YOUR NS!

    MCQ??

I tot MCQ is kindda of a SURE SCORE for econs? Haha! I also took Econs mah... ;)

I heard from my VJ Econ's tutor that Cambridge has reduced the no of MCQs this year liao... so is really bad for the students...

IMHO, I really enjoyed writing Econs essays!

I guess for this CT the teachers decided to give a hard one. Drats...

The only bad thing about essays is that it's unpredictable and when u think u've got it, you actually don't :)

    I like MCQ.

'Cos if I really don't know the answer, I can:

    1) Trust in the Force and use my instincts -- and just pick one.

    2) Use the 'traditional' method: eenie, meenie, miney, moe.

Can't do that in an essay. :D

LOL! [face_laugh] I also like MCQ if I know the subject well in the first place. :p Love it for Econs, love it for 'O' Level Malay, Chemistry, Physics and Bio but hate it when it comes to last semester's Biochemical Engineering.

Well, tomorrow last paper for you JaZzYjaZZ so you should had studied for it now. ;)

Hey Jazz, just wanted to wish you all the best for your exams too! :)
What can I say, just made it thru' all that myself not too long ago - haha! ;)

BTW, I also did an Econs subject called Competition & Industry this semester as one of my Elective units. It's more of a Microeconomics subject and delves further into the topics of Consumer Behaviour, Production & Costs, the Analysis of Competitive Markets, Monopoly & Monopsony, Monopolistic Competition, Oligopoly, and Game Theory & Competitive Strategy - sounds familiar, right?? ;)

I would have loved it if there were any MCQs at all in my exam paper, but unfortunately, there was nothing but essay questions, the type that's one paragraph long, then you just write as much as possible
    Yeah, I know, I'm worried too! :(

JediJean - wow that's some really heavy syllabus heh. Some sound familiar..and I believe John Nash discovered the Game Theory :D

Ah, it's over~. I hope I can pass my physics today. I realised that I had forgotten all the topics which I studied earlier, sigh. Plus, the new aircon in the hall kept dripping water all over my table.. as though it was drizzling inside :)

    Tell me about it, man...
With fans blowing in the hall, if you're unlucky enough to be seated next to the fan, then you really have to learn the art of holding on to your papers... otherwise everything will just fly away, then you really have to learn the meaning of "paperchase" :D

Wah I didn't have an occassion where I had to pick up flying papers :D. The air-con hall is new, but TPJC is the first to have it (last year march)..not sure if ACJC has also, but I'm quite sure VJC doesn't have. LoL [face_laugh]

SA have it around that time, I think May. Coz by the time I have my common test (jc 1), it's already air conditioned. Waste of money.
