    Hi Peeps,

Im sure many of you have heard about Sci-Fi london. Its the countrys only dedicated anual sci-fi expo that covers all the different types of sci-fi from War of the worlds (book), right up to star trek, star wars and even most of the sci-fi anime's like Robotech, ghost in the shell and Neon Genesis Evangelion. Well its back for its 6th year right in the heart of london as always and it has a packed program this year running from the 2nd till the 6th of may it includes such things as

    THE ARTHUR C. CLARKE AWARDS
    THINGS TO COME (PREVIEW SCREENING)
    EDMOND (CINE-EXCESS SCREENING)
    DOUGLAS ADAMS MEMORIAL DEBATE
    THINGS TO COME (WORLD PREMIERE)
    EXITZ (WORLD PREMIERE)
    PAPRIKA
    RUN ROBOT RUN
    THE FERRYMAN
GHOST IN THE SHELL: SOLID STATE SOCIETY (Production I.G. Special)
    PROXIMA
    SCI-FI FILM SCHOOL
    BLAKE'S SEVEN PANEL
LAST HOUSE IN THE WOODS (CINE-EXCESS SCREENING)
    THE MARS UNDERGROUND
    FUTURE BY DESIGN
BLINK OF AN EYE SHORTS PROGRAMME
DONE THE IMPOSSIBLE: The Fans' Tale of Firefly & Serenity
    TAXIDERMIA (CINE-EXCESS SCREENING)
    CAPTAIN EAGER (WORLD PREMIERE)
    RECON 2022 (WITH CHRISTIAN VEIL)
    PLANE DEAD
    ANIMÉ ALLNIGHT MIDNIGHT
    MST3K ALL-NIGHTER MIDNIGHT
    HAMMER ALL-NIGHTER MIDNIGHT
    SCI-FI-LONDON PUB QUIZ
    QUATERMASS DOUBLE-BILL
    PLANE DEAD
BLINK OF AN EYE SHORTS PROGRAMME
28 WEEKS LATER (CLOSING NIGHT FILM)

And as you can see there will even be a few premiere's, so it might be nice if some of the FF-UK crew could go along and show their apreciation for this great event and pay homage to some of the Sci-Fi that we have all grown up with, loved, cried and cheerd to, because remember without sci-fi non of us would be on the boards. And for all those who loved the film 28 days later, there will be a special screening of the new sequal 28 weeks later as a way of a thank you from the sci-fi london team 5 days before it hits the cinemas :D

I myself will go along just for the Blakes 7 panel.......such fun

((for more info on the Sci-Fi london expo visit this link http://www.sci-fi-london.com/2007web/programme.htm ))

Catch you all in a galaxy Far Far away ......soon. :D

Sci-Fi London has grown a very solid reputation, and I've always been meaning to attend part of it but never have. Sadly, that is likely to continue and that weekend is Collectormania 11 which is priority. So sadly it may have to wait until next week (again) for me but it should be a darn good event.
