Thank you so much for getting us this info, Breezy. Unfortunately, the trip that I and a few others from the Base are planning has us coming through Seattle on Sunday, July 25th, a week earlier, on our way back from an SCA event just east of the city. Some of the folks from Victory Base might be interested in joining you on that day, but they'd be making an extra trip only for that purpose, most likely. In other words, I doubt you'll get many, if any, Victory Basers joining you on FF Everett's planned trip to the Sci-Fi museum. If your date changes to the previous Sunday, by any chance, let us know, though, okay? It would be cool to meet up with FFers from another city. Our joint activities with Vancouver FF have always been fun. Cheers, - Rani
EMP stands for Experience Music Project. It's actually really cool, if you like music. The sci-fi museum was originally a ride called "Funk Blast" that was part of EMP. They created the sci-fi museum because Jimi Hendrix was a really big sci-fi fan, and Jimi is from Seattle.
There is a comic con in Sea Tac Aug 28-29th we could combine the two if anyone is interested? Aug 28-29th Raining Hollywood: Nothwest Scit Fi convention & collector show. Prices $8.00 ea. Under 7 free. Randy
