I used to love deepfried chicken hearts, til me family told me what they were...

same thing with tongue, brains and innards...I was a gullible child, what can I say.

 

i dont understand why anybody would ever eat anything like that.

 

i was tricked into eating "rocky mountain oysters" aka cow testicles. They tasted good until i was told what the are.

then there is alligator. things that make you go "bleh"

 

Hmmm I like both of those.

Kangaroo is really good too. But ostritch is gross.

 

I'm under the impression that anything tastes better if it's breaded and deep fried.

 

ooh i love liver and onions...YUMMMYYY!!!!

in fact i was going to probably make some sometime soon.

my mom used to bake chicken liver with cream of mushroom soup. i actually could handle that.

 

I always thought cheese made anything taste better.

 

cheese does improve the taste of most foods.

 

however most does not necessarily mean all.

 

I can list several dishes that cheese would in fact ruin.

 

kipper and rice pilaf, for instance.

 

baked alaska

 

fruitcake

 

bean and bacon soup

 

fried yak with clam sauce

 

peanut butter cookies

 

spam (too much salty goodness)

 

I hurt my hand today. A mean man came into the shop and yelled at me. I tried to be nice to him, I tried to be civil. But as jerks often do, he disregarded my pleasant nature and beaming smile and chose to ridicule me and call me names.

I kicked him out, after twenty minutes of fury driven negotiations, of course. I tried to help him understand that my hands were tied, that there was nothing I could do to solve his problem today. Tomorrow perhaps, but no sooner.

This wasnt good enough.

Once he left, I ran to my office and slammed the door...on my hand.

So the tears that fell were not fueled by anger alone. No...they were made ever yet bitter by the huge honkin pain coming from my hand!

Ouch.

The Auto Glass guys gave me an ice pack, and now I'm sulking on the pc til this stupid day is over.

meh.

 

If that happens again do what I do. Real calmy state" If you wish to lower your voice and act like an adult I would be more than happy to discuss this with you." And if they dont just walk away on them mid-sentence

 

Ooo... I feel your pain Mistress! (well not the physical pain, hope that gets better though)

When I did the whole time warner cable thing I had to put up with all kinds of evil people getting mad at me. And we were forbidden to hang up!

Basically I waited until I had a moment to say something, which was followed by, "If you shut your mouth and listen I can solve your problem. But if you just want to yell at me then you are wasting my time and yours, then please hang up."

That job sucked

 

Customer Service of any sort can and will expose you to the dregs of humanity. Funny how those types people who go from place of business to place of business yelling, screaming, kicking and spitting about "customer service" are usually the kinds of people who would get fired from such a position in about twenty minutes.

I have never eaten Spam. When the whole Y2K thing was going on I bought a giant can of Spam at Sams Club because everyone else was and when I got home my husband said "It would definitely take nuclear fallout to make me eat SPAM!" So on Jan.1 2000. The giant can of spam hit the trash... lament for the poor giant can of Spam...

 

Now, spam behind, back to customer service...

I agree that the people who complain the most are usually those who could never do the job in the first place.

 

I am very bored. I wish I had a movie to watch.
