No, the Tom Cruise thing would never work. Why would he tie himself down to a weekly TV series?

The trick to a good internet hoax (the kind that gets people to waste time looking for references to it on the IMDB, and keeps going for 24 posts) is to make it just outrageous enough that people are freaked out by it, but not compeltely outside the bounds of possibility. AT least, that's what I assume about the thought process of the kind of people who start these things.

 

Christopher Walken would never be in the series. He'll be too busy running for president.

He would be great as Moff Tarkin for the series though. Completely different, and would ruin the character, but I still want to see it nonetheless. Walken rules.

 

Chachi in Star Wars? Maybe if he wears a costume, or at least a helmet, and his character is mute.
