    ha !

now usually...... if someone was to appear here and start blathering about such dreadful SW trivia - "what brand of shampoo does Chewbacca use? dandruff-control or anti-frizz" - we would run you out of town with a flea in yir ear and a toe up yir arse..... but, seeing as its you, and , well, there's a new film on the way, and I'm getting a wee bit enthusiastic myself, we'll let you away with it :)

and I use the same delicatessen as Trisha Biggar and she says the DL44s always caused hellish problems with the holsters cos they were a bit too heavy to the handle-end......

Just read the Da Vinci code and it it'll all make sense:

Knights Templar: Order of knights around the time of the crusades formed to protect pilgrims travelling to the Holy Land

Rosslyn Chapel: Found by Earl William St Clair just outside Edinburgh and is riddled with carvings and mysticism relating to the secret order of the Knights Templar

Dundee: The town where I live which has nothing to do with either (about 1 hour 1/2 away from Edinburgh)

    Ken :)

"Yes, Julian Glover aka General Veers, despite in his day looking very much like an Aryan poster boy, is from Edinburgh originally. He told me himself"

Not doubting you but imdb has him born in London - however so was Keifer Sutherland.

Nevertheless he is married to Isla Blair who is Scottosh.

Anyway the Scots I know in Star Wars are:

    Dennis Lawson (Wedge)
    Ewan MacGregor (Obi-Wan)
Michael Sheard (Some unfortunate imperial admiral killed by Vader)
    Ian McDiarmid (Palpatine)
    Ray Park (Darth Maul)

    Any others?

Ewoks are obviously based on Neds.
Small hairy unintelligeble things throwing rocks at
law enforcers, stealing their vehicles, playing songs
with their helmets, kidnapping bands of strangers

    [image=http://www.exewing.btinternet.co.uk/logray.jpg]

    Ewoks are Neds.
    Ones even got adidas stripes
