Scrolling cursor effect

    Hello all,

    I was wondering if any of the experts here might be able to help me. I need to do an effect where it appears text is being typed on a computer screen (you know, letters appearing after a flashing cursor moves past). Anyway, I'm using AE 6.0 Pro so if anyone has any ideas on how to accomplish this it would be much apprieciated.

    should be really easy for you to do.

    Just use keyframes on the cursor, and set the letters on different layers and have them appear as the cursor goes over that spot

    you will have to figure out a good rythem..

    Maby like 5 frames to move over a letter, then pause for 3 frames. then repeat.
