So... the 11th it is!

 

Jeff pointed out to me that May 11th is Mother's Day... I'm assuming you would all rather be with your mothers on that day... so we still need a date for the party... ideally a date where all the officers can attend.

 

Doh!

 

Personally I don't have a problem with it on that day as it takes place in the afternoon, but moms are important and I don't want anyone to be forced to choose.

Looks like we're into June now. I have a family wedding to attend on the 7th.

 

as long as its after the 2nd week in june i can do it any day! No more High school!!!!

 

Well, let's not jump into June just yet. Is there anyone else who had a problem with May 17th besides me? Not to go all trek on you, but "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one". (should have been a Yoda quote) If that date is good for everyone else, then lets do it then.

I just found out my family is going to be on the east coast that weekend anyways, so the "being with family" thing isn't going to happen. I'll just go spend time at Fort Rosecrans with my dad in the morning and have some quiet time then. Does that afternoon/evening work?

If it's on a Saturday we can stay up late and have a fire in the firepit outside. Anyone up for making a paper Darth Vader to torch?

 

I wonder if I can have a Darth Vader pinata made? Hmmm... we can hit him with our lightsabers until he drops his candy... then we can torch the guy!
