If you and I both leave early, then this is going to be a short party [face_plain] The two most fun people won't be there very long :(

Hey! I wanted to be the first one to post after the party. ;)

A big "Thank you" to everyone who made the loooong drive up 15 to Escondido. I'm sorry the traffic was so bad.

And an extra big "thank you" to Linda for her generosity and club spirit.

Thank you Donna and Bob for letting us trash your home and giving you a bad rep in the neighborhood. ;)

Thanks to Brandon for giving us a special treat and dressing up as Vader.

Thanks to Brian for not stabbing me, Jon, and Todd with an SDSWS pen.

Thanks to Armand for wearing flannel (private joke.)

And thanks everyone for my lovely plaque. [face_love] I'm looking forward to having even more fun with all of you in the coming year. :D

I just walked through the door. Talked with Laramie (hope I spelled it right) out front for a while.

Thanks to our hosts for the gracious use of their home for this event, and for providing "center-of-plate" fair. That was a most generous offer.

I really enjoy hanging out with all you geeks. A couple of you laugh at even one-word cracks ;). I look forward to more opportunities to invade your get-togethers and keep you wondering what exactly is wrong with me.

Linda, thanks so much for the "special gift". It really meant alot to me to get something like that, even if I didn't show it. You have all welcomed me into your group, and I feel quite privileged.

Jon, Gavin and myself had such a blast!!!

Thank you Donna and Bob for the invasion of your house :). I think if your neighbors didn't already think you were a little different before, they do now...

Thank you Linda for the goodies, they're amazing! I was so surprised and thrilled to get them.

And I have to give a huge thanks to all you great babysitters! It was great to actually get to talk with grown-ups (ok as much as we are 8-}) and know that Gavin was well looked after.

    *sounding like an echo*

Thanks so much to Donna for hosting and for the food, to Linda for the unexpected but awesome gifts, and to everyone who has helped keep this club alive for its first year!! Here's to many more in the future!

No problemo, amigos! You guys are easy to host compared to Bob's family.

40+ crazy Irish relatives packed into my house at Christmas time! 12-15 kids running around, 10-20 adults running around, the every popular gift-exchange (which one nephew dubbed the "fully body contact gift-exchange"); compared to that, the SDSWS is no sweat. ;)

I'll volunteer to do it again next year, too. I had a great time. :D

Yes, I was surprised at how much the "kids" played with all the toys I put out. ;)

    Thanks for the pics, Linda.

Hey that was the first time i had seen most of those toys. I barely own any toys and none of them recent so I got to check out all the cool stuff!

I know how you feel. When the original trilogy came out I was in high school/college and it wasn't "cool" to collect toys back then.

Now that I have kids I have the best excuse in the world. I think my favorite is the Playskook Millenium Falcon - and all those figurines! :D
