San Diego, CA SDSWS C-2 Attendees: C-2 The Good and The Bad!

To those members of the SDSWS who attended the Celebration 2 convention in Indianapolis;
Here's a couple of questions...

What were the Good Parts about Celebration 2?

What were the Bad Parts about Celebration 2?

If San Diego were to get Celebration 3; what areas need to be a improved apon, in order for Celebration 3 to be better than Celebration 2?

 

Whew.....what a weekend!!!!

I got back in a few hours ago....glad to be back

The Con was GREAT.....but BUSY!!!!! VERY BUSY, up to 35-40,000 people on Sat. alone!!! Lines were 3-8 hours long for different panels and for autographs!!!

But we Troopers in the 501st KICKED ASS and pretty much ran the show We had upwards of 200+ 501st dress Imperials!!! Around 100-150 worked with Wizards of the Coast as Door Security and Escorts for the stars! We had such a presence at the Con, people listened to US more than they did to the Security Officers.....the only lame thing is that WOTC fired more than half of the Security Officers on the weekend and took advantage of our volunteers and doubled our shift hours It wasn't fun standing in 1 place for 4 hours in armor!!!! Out of the 36 hours the Con was open, one of our Troopers actually worked 22 hours!!!!

Other than having to work the doors for WOTC, we all had a BLAST!!!

Let's see....some of my highlights....well:
- Steve Sansweet stopped for 5 minutes and talked to me and told me that my Sandtrooper costume was one of the best he's seen!

- Stood post next to Billy Dee Williams.....IN MY SOLO COSTUME hehehe!!!

- Marched down the street with 200 other Stormtroopers.....what a feeling!!!
......there's SOOOO much more!!!!!
