I gotta ask.. What is your avatar?
Its from a short lived Adult Swim show, "Saul Of The Molemen". It used to come on at like 3:00am here in Canada it was a parody of low budget Sci-Fi fanatsy shows from the 60s and 70s(think early Doctor Who and Lost In Space) and it had a tendency to have various background characters that looked like they were poorly made gifs, just photoshopped in from other shows with the same movements every frame they appeared in. My avatar known as "Chincula" was one of them. I wish i could find a video of it but every time he appeared he did the most beautifully stilted wide eyed vampire lunge poses. .
I loved "Saul of the Molemen". Adult Swim cans all the good stuff, man. Um... so... about season 5?
And it seems you've adopted the text from "Fifty Shades of Purple?"
I got excited when I heard the familiar Star Wars motif but then I remembered it's just a placeholder.
Is it just me or is that Pit Droid painted the same as the one included with the Vintage Collection Ratts Tyrell.
The music better not be a placeholder when Sidious shows up.
ARE YOU LISTENING DAVE?!!!!!!!
It sounds pretty epic in that clip of when Sidious arrives that was floating around.
Indeed it did. I don't think they can come up with any new track to match that. I really hope they leave it as is. If they don't, I'll edit it back when I get the BR.
Great clip of the comet storm. Was that episode screened at Celebration as well?
I don't believe so.
Gotta agree. The Emperor needs his theme music! It's part of what makes him so cool.
You'll get his attention if you say "Ahsoka"
Please use John Williams music for the Sidious episode.
You should have posted that on Dave's facebook page 2 years ago, damnit.
I didn't know the secret word(s) 2 years ago.
Love the classic John Williams music. Also those comets remind me of the old star tours.
I hope so too. I am hopeful for the future.
I think everything is better than Shadow Warrior at this point but TCW S5 has been exceptional and awesome so far. Only one boring setup directed Filoni himself. Other than that, it has been a complete win.
From Revival to Tipping Points and all the way to A necessary Bond.
So maybe this trend will continue...
I liked Shadow Warrior while I disliked the Onderon arc! (and I don't say that to be an annoyance I trully mean it)
Anyhow on the other topic being talked about: I really like the idea of Clovis reappearing making yet another connection to the past this season also yeah KEEP the Williams music for Sidious!
Dave, please continue the Mortis arc.
According to the Bell Satelite TV guide thingy the snail guy's name is Colonel Gascon.
No one fights like Gascon....
For me, I'm sorry to say only "Revival" has really stood out. The first half of season 5 season five has been about as enjoyable as the first half of season 4 was. I didn't line Onderon and while I enjoyed the Young Jedi episodes individually the arc just disappointed me. You can read all about that in the "A Necessary Bond" thread. I'm glad that for most members it picked up around the same place Umbara did (7). Its so strange and depressing that I of all people am the odd man (err girl) out. I've wondered if I'm losing the love. Really I think I learned a lesson with the Young Jedi arc about how not to watch an arc, if that makes sense.
Well, it takes all kinds so that's cool, "The each his own." Clovis return was a big surprised to me when I found out and I'm glad to see all these connections to the past and the progression to linear story telling. I'm also a little scared it means TCW might be starting to wind down though which is probably silly given my respond to Dan.
lol, Gaston as a slug man. So who wants to take bets on how long it takes before Slugman is killed off? Think R2 will fall on him and crush him? xD
I'm positive he will say: "Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? And where you should not!"
