Somebody told me that the Maul arc is after the droid episodes... is that true, is that possible?
I thought that was a really nice shout out.
Died on a Monday?
Born on a Monday,
Christened on Tuesday,
Still a virgin on Wednesday,
Sent to Ryloth on Thursday,
Out of supplies on Friday,
Gunned down on Saturday,
Rose from the dead on Sunday..
We won't likely be sure what arc is up next til its on CN's schedule.
I'm sad we have nothing new to talk about. Throw us a bone, Dave.
I wonder if we'll see Mother Talzin this season.
Interesting that they have added The Lawless to that page now. It wasn't there yesterday morning!
And we should know that on the 5th/6th January... with any luck.
I don't think so (but I'm not positive) I got the impression that she'll have a bigger role next season. Unless she pops up in the season finale. Filoni mentioned that she was on the TCW teams radar and that we would learn more about her, but made a note of clarifying that when he says something's coming, he doesn't necessarily mean right away. I assumed he was alluding to next season. He also mentioned Tusken Raiders would make an appearance in the show again and made vague comments that seemed to indicate (or so I interpreted) that we'd learn more about the ancient Sith and perhaps visit Korriban. All of these things seem like they'd happen in S6 at the soonest.
S6 may truly be the season where **** happens. Not sure about S5 anymore with what I've seen so far. Hopefully Maul, Clovis. and the finale will change that.
The next season is always going to be THE season... but it never is.
Big things on the way for Talzin... Will probably consist of one episode of Season 6, with more time being spent on a 4-episode Jar Jar arc (speculation) .
I am particularly disappointed there may not be any Fives in season 5 as was said in SWW. All those 'High fives for Fives' wasted!
I thought about everything was supposed to be a four part arc?
I heard that in reference to S5, though it doesn't look like the finale is a 4-parter.
I don't know if 4-parters are going to be the status quo going into S6, but God I hope not. Even the best 4-parters tend to feel a little stale by the time their over, not to mention tales like Onderon. If every story was a gem, then it could work. But that's yet to be the case.
The finale looks to be 2-3 parts. Personally, I'm forecasting it is a 4 part arc where the first 2 parts will air end of season 5 making it a cliff hanger. If even TCW was going to do a real big ass cliff hanger the finale sounds like it.
Trouble with TCW is fan feedback won't show up for atleast two seasons because of how fast TCW production seems to be. I agree so far for me there have only been two arcs worthy of being 4 parters. Onderon was two episodes tops worth of stuff. Young Jedi just didn't do it for me. By the time I got to the last part I was ready for it to be over.
It's an individual perception thing and honestly, the length of the story depends on the story itself. Young Jedi didn't stretch out for me, but Onderon's story was thin.
It would be nice to see some one shot episodes again however or more arcs the style that Massacre, Bounty, Revenge, and Brother arc. Its hard to remember what's supposed to be one arc.
"Point of No Return" has now been confirmed on January 12 on CN Schedule.
The end of the droid arc is in sight.
UGH, looks like it'll be a long wait for the Clovis arc, if we get it at all.
only 2 episodes left of the droid arc
You want to say more arcs that have many episodes in it, but they all can live on their own... it is like in the good old days. Like with the Gunray arc or the S4 finale arc.
I would love to see more arcs like that. Arcs like Onderon or Umbara, it is hard to watch each episode on their own.
More episodes like Cloak of Darkness, Lair of Grievous, Massacre and Bounty.
And speaking of one shots, WHO... I say WHO here would not love a great and fast-paced adventure in 22 minutes like "Trespass"?
I like "Trespass' but feel an episode like that may be to self contained for this late in the ballgame. TCW does not seem to know how to take one shot episodes and link them together over time very well without taking atleast 3 seasons to do it.
So the 19th is bringing us...I don't honestly mind which arc comes first, Clovis or Maul...
Hope its Maul already.
I thought Missing in Action was the last droid arc episode.
