Maul personifies the lesson Plagueis gave to Sidious about gaining power.
And it takes him more than one trick... let us take a closer look.

"You must begin by gaining power over yourself (Maul kept himself from dying); then another (Savage became his apprentice); then a group (Black Sun), an order (Death Watch), a world (Mandalore), a species (Hutts), a group of species (Pykes, Hutts, Falleens, Humans) … finally, the galaxy itself (Maul planned to rule over the 2,000 neutral systems in the galaxy)." -Plagueis.

Something I can look forward to after my last exam as well! :D

(I am looking forward to the Clovis arc but the Maul arc is the one I'm anticipating most! So the fact that it begins airing two days after my last exam is great!) I will be able to relax and spend even more time on here then I already do! (I clearly need a life...)

I'm happy that Maul is coming sooner rather than later. But I can't help but think that at this rate Clovis is going to get pushed back to be a lackluster season finale, just like the winter break "cliffhanger" was. :p

HA! Interesting... maybe they wrote the book to match the events already written into scripts.

2000 neutral words is kinda **** cause if you are part of the Galactic Senate of the Republic then you are not at all neutral.

Finally, confirmation of this! I'm so excited for the arc. Luckily I've been spoiled to the minimum and it has been very difficult to avoid them.

Good news that the continuation of the Maul arc is next (Revival, the season premiere, is a part of this arc, right?); I could have done with either this one or the Clovis one since I'm really looking forward to both of them.

Totally not fitting in with the Mauldalore arc hype but did it ever come to your minds that in 'Tipping Points' Lux kinda caused Steela's death by trying to help her? In the time Ashoka saved him from falling down that cliff she could have saved Steela and everybody would be happy.

I've seen that picture of the space station before. Looks neat. I like the arrowhead shaped ships.

Hah, best of luck to both of you. Maul can survive anything apparently. Be like Maul... but don't kill people.

I find the best way to deal with exams is to revise all day and relax in the evening. Force mind trick would come in handy right about now though... "You will give me a pass mark".

What was your method? (This is going way off-topic now lol). Different revision methods suit different people. What may work for me, may not work for others.

I wanted Clovis if only because the arc makes less sense following Mauldalore.

I honestly think the TCW team knew that much of this season wasn't going to go over well with viewers so that's why the stories are so jumbled around in an attempt to appease fan angst. I don't think its a coincidence that they upped their "main attraction" storyline to follow up this widely unpopular one.

I love how people can say that despite the fact that neither of the arc has aired. Shouldn't a judgement like that be made after both arcs have aired?

The original episode listing had the Maul arc airing after the droid arc anyway when the Clovis arc was still meant to be airing as episodes 6, 7 and 8. I imagine, if Young Jedi was always a part of this season that, that was the one that was moved up and the Clovis arc has moved back into its previous episode slots.

My method didn't work, trust me. =b

I seriously agree. I'm not going to judge an episode until I see it. The TCW team had no idea the Droid Arc was not going to be a hit more than likely. Why do you think Brent Friedman was tweeting the last two episodes in the arc are more conventional? They tried something innovative and were positive it would work. It ended up being polarizing. That happens. I'm sure the Clovis arc will make plenty of sense and be an awesome 2nd to the last arc.
