Why the heck do you spend like 30 seconds destroying droids. Why does Maul just not cream the droid instead of using the Force on its unimportant, useless body.

I like when Maul brings up that they needs a plan, as though they've just been on a mindless rampage for weeks and it's just dawned on them, "wait, why are we doing this again?"

    Exactly this

Maul and Savage are only in this because they look cool. I've always liked Maul, but he has no storyline worth here whatsoever.

AMEN! It is a storyline (if I could even call it that) that is going NOWHERE!

I like that he grips the droids with the force, it fits him and is something foreign to Savage. The droid moron can't, so I'd actually be disappointed if Maul didn't run around using three force all the time. His stupid survival/exhile aside, I give them props for pulling off the force-face palm. If anybody else had done that, they'd be making meme's about it.

Do Boba have one in TCW either? Or Tarkin? Or Chewbacca?

Boba Fett wasn't even meant to be a huge character, but he still did something important. He tracked Han down, brought the Empire, and delivered Solo to Jabba the Hutt.

Tarkin had an important role, being in charge of the Death Star and seemingly deciding to blow up Alderaan on his own.

Unlike Maul, Chewbacca isn't a hyped up Force user. He started out as Han's co-pilot, and helping Han and the gang was basically what he did.

Maul is being hyped up as like the new big threat - and we know he's not going to do anything important at all. He doesn't have any kind of role to play. His main goal seems to be killing off Obi-Wan, the Jedi, Sidious, and Dooku, and we know he's not going to succeed in anything so he's just boring and pointless.

I was talking about in TCW, not their roles in the movies.

Oh, I missed that. Then I'd agree that their roles were pointless too and they were only there for the sake of it.

They shaved Boba's head and he got Force choked
    Chewbacca got captured
Tarkin is a simplistic and broad man
We found out Jabba had a son

I really find it kind of funny seeing how in the Han Solo trilogy had Jabba killed his own infant nephew once to avoid having a potential rival

Young Jedi, at the very least, was produced as part of Season 5 (scenes from the space battle and Grievous/Obi-Wan were in the first Season 5 trailer)- it's really no different than any other 4-episode story arc from TCW, other than they gave it its own logo and suggested they might reserve it's screening for special events.

However, since it ties together a few things (or, at the very least, sets up some things, like Hondo/Slave I), I find it difficult to imagine they'd be able to skip over it's story (or, at least, it's subplots).

Yeah, they showed all four episodes edited together as a movie (like the Nightsisters theatrical event) at CVI.

Grievous is a running subplot in it- basically his fleet gets the jump on Obi-Wan's ship (preventing Cody and some clones from assisting in the rescue of Ahsoka from Hondo, thus encouraging the younglings (who are elsewhere) to do so on their own), he boards the ship, he and Obi-Wan duel briefly, but Obvi-Wan is just delaying Grievous so the escap pods can launch, Obi sets the self destruct in an attempt to get Grievous, gets to his escape pod, Greivous dashes to his escape and the ship explodes.

Later, Dooku sends Grievous to invade Florrum and kill Hondo and his men as retribution for Hondo's kidnapping of Dooku back in season 1, interrupting the rescue attempt and forcing an alliance between Hondo, Ahsoka and the younglings.

One of the most awesome parts of TCW no less.
