I am psyched For the premiere of Birdman tonight. Great show, great cast, great writing, awesome. Plus new eppies of Venture, 12 oz. mouse, Robot Chicken, metalocalypse, and squidbillies.

 

Tonight:

"Wire in the Blood" BBC America

"The Bachelor: Rome"

Never seen either of these. Never will see "The Bachelor", which gives new meaning to the term 'pandering to the lowest common denominator.'

 

Tonight: "Veronica Mars" on CW at 9:00

 

I would have watched it, but I was working. Fortunently, I saw it online.

 

Lost tonight.

"South Park"

 

Yea, tonight's a big TV night, at least for me. Not only do I have the premieres of Lost and South Park, but there's the debut of The Nine as well as the Yankees/Tigers divisional playoff game. Eeep !

 

How many seasons of South Park have there been now? And how many more are planned?

 

The premiere of the second half of Season Ten is tonight.

Many, many more if we're lucky.

 

I also read that Matt and Trey planning on doing a movie to wrap it all up once the show ends down the road.

 

Sweet. You just know that they're going to end it on the most abrasive (and poignant) note ever.

Never heard of this show before.

 

It isn't very good at all.

I was surprised to see it comming back actually.

 

Some shows have a life all their own, divorced from questions of good and bad.

Tomorrow: Steve Coogan in "Saxondale" on BBC America

 

Sunday: "Frisky Dingo" (Cartoon TV)

Never seen this.

EW describes it thusly:

"Ever imagine Papa Smurf trying to destroy Gargamel, and, while he's at it, the earth? That's "Dingo's" villian, Killface, a jovial psycho who micromanages his minions and is so obsessed with running a corporate-style evil empire he's equal parts PowerPoint and powermonger...the spoof doesn't jell until whiny 'hero' Awesome-X enters in Episode 2."
