I thought I heard that too.

To me, the faces are close, but not the same. The nose is more crooked, the mouth is more down-turned, the eyes are more narrow, and the complexion is lighter. I don't think the differences are due to age.

    Does anyone else see this?

Maybe the "glass" in the helmet is distorting the image.

    I don't think that's likely.

I think if they really introduced non-Jango clone troopers, they would make sure to make them as visually distinct as possible.

I am sure these are normal clones, either younger or just remodelled.

Maybe that means we'll see Ventress capture Obi-Wan, like in the Clone Wars comic 'Last Stand on Jabiim.' Even though it happens pre-TCW series, it'd be cool to see a similar storyline.

Perhaps those are just training gear? I did notice a scene that looked like it had a holographic background and holographic drodis being shot at.

Also, was I the only one who noticed weird long legged creatures climbing over the Kamino towers?

Actually, those are starships, the same as Ventress' Trident. That is my favorite design from the show, but I am not happy about them being overused like this.

Humm, goes to show you. That's actually one of my least favourite designs of the show. And I;m surely not happy with them overusing it.

The leaked list of Hasbro figures points to Quinlan Vos appearing.
Never really been a fan of the EU, but he seems like an interesting character.

Interesting. Ever since the failed first script of Jedi Crash, I'd thought they would just give up on Quinlan.

Great news! The Star Wars website recently released a video called The Ultimate Fan Getaway that included some new scenes for Season Three!

link to the video here: http://www.starwars.com/video/view/001052.html

Most of them look similar to the things we saw in the preview, but it is new stuff. For a few things:

Todo 360 is back--at 5-6 seconds into the video you can see him push 3-CPO into a speeder being driven by an assassin droid
At one point Ahsoka seems to be protecting Senator Chuchi and a person of her species.
Ahsoka jumps down and knocks out what seems to be a Mandalorian guard.

yeah, a couple of new shots in that video.

Looks like a detention block to me. And I'm not sure that's Chuchi, and the other girl looks more like a twi'lek than a togruta.

Another nice shot of that battle simulator. I love this idea, specially since this is something first seen in the Incredible Cross-Sections book. I wonder if those battle droids are real or just holograms.

I'm actually hoping for a bit more Obi-Wan...yeah, I'm an Obi-Wan fangirl. I don't think he gets enough screen time! Season One and Two sorely lacked his presence. :(

On the other hand, I'm all for Ahsoka's tragic demise- *cough* I mean, uh...yeah. *Shifty eyes* You heard nothing.
Naw, I'm just kidding. I don't mind her so much anymore. She used to bother me a lot, at the beginning, but I'm slowly warming up to her and her reverse lightsaber grip.

Kids aren't supposed to understand them. If the producers thought kids would understand them they wouldn't have included them. Putting adult humour "under the radar" in kids movies and shows is nothing new, and its mostly just an in-joke on the part of the producers, or throwing something in for the parents to chuckle at. See Ice Age 2 for an other example of this.

It's happened before in TCW. In "The Hidden Enemy" the clone trooper claims that he was "cleaning his weapon" and he got all defensive when the officers wanted to check his computer. "Didn't even power it up".

Come on people, that wasn't an accident.[face_laugh]

Their not going to kill Ahsoka with a forth season left to go. Once Ahsoka dies what's the point? What are we going to discuss? I don't think it has dawned on alot of people yet that once Ahsoka dies, if she dies, thats it. Who else are they going to kill? Ahsoka is one of the few unknown elements in this show, killing her with another season left to go is unthinkable.

Dave Filoni has already started making an effort to introduce recurring characters to root for in Season 2 with the reintroduction of Eeth Koth and Saesee Tiin, and we also have villains like Cad Bane and Hondo to think about, and I'm sure we'll see a few more new characters introduced in Season 3.

While I doubt that Ahsoka will kick the bucket next season she will have to die sometime before the end of the show mainly so that Anakin's rather relaxed emotional state at the beggining of ROTS doesn't undo all the effort made to make him an emotionally sensitive character.
