The action will commence when the First Annnual 2003 Starfighter Draft is completed. Since it is in the finals already, it should be finishing up pretty soon.

The First Annual 2003 Starfighter Draft is almost complete. All GMs should make final preparations for the beginning of the draft; researching pilots, planning statergies, etc.

Last round, I tried to stress the importance of having a strong team. Several GMs didn't heed my advice, and it cost them. For an example of how important teams are in the competition, just ask JansonYellowAces. The reason he got to the finals was because he had a strong team, and won all of his match-ups in the team battles.

Also, one final announcement. The winner and runner-up will be allowed to choose what spot they want in the first round of the draft. As before, the first round will be for selecting Jedi Pilots only.

Once the finals in the 1st SFD are complete, we can get started here. Until then, get ready...

For an example of how a bad team can cost you, just ask A-WingsRule. He had a strong and powerful line-up, including Anakin Skywalker, Tycho Celchu, Myn Donos and Turr Phennir. He also had the team from Hell. They hated each other.

Seriously, I lost two important battles because, although my individual pilots were good, my overal team was poor. A hint - think about who you select. Putting the man who destroyed Alderaan with Tycho Celchu is not a good idea.

In the first SFD,I had a strong team,IMHO.but this time I hoping to make it even better

 

I have some unfortunate news to tell you all. I won't go into details, but Grand Admiral Thran was banned from the JC for a month. If you want any other details you can contact him about it. However, this now leaves us with a judges spot open. Since the draft is about to start, I would like to get the judges position filled A.S.A.P.
