Second 2003 Starfighter Draft

Hey guys i was yemp banned for a day i cant use my other SN tell tomorrow night five o'clock

oh i have some bad news i PM Darth Caca and i didnt get a reply so i PM a mod and he told me Darth Caca had been banned but he didnt tell me how long

 

What the heck is everyone getting banned for?

Well, the First Annual 2003 Starfighter Draft is over, with Gaeri pulling out the victory.

I'm still waiting to hear from a couple people about the open judges position, but we can go ahead and get started on the actual drafting.

I'm going to go create the draft order right now; I've received word from Gaeri that she indeed wants to have the 1st pick of the first round, which, remember, is for Jedi pilots ONLY. I still need to here from Janson.

I didn't "invite" anyone back to be a judge Madine. Awing and slush asked me to be judges, and the only reason I asked RJ to be a judge was because of Thran's ban. I was going to ask you, but I figured you'd be pretty busy with the Jedi Draft.

Second 2003 Starfighter Draft

 

Man, I'm drafting #9? Oh, well, at least I can get a good non-Jedi pilot in the second round.


Edit: Just for the record, I get home from school about 3 every day, but i'll be on after that. If its my turn to draft, just wait for me, i'll show up then. Teus/wednes of this week only I might be on less cause TFP comes out and i'll be reading it. (if any of this causes to much of a problem, i'll PM Corran a list)

 

I get number 6. That is a bad spot, because I will always be in the middle.

 

I put in a request to change the name of the thread. Hopefully, it'll get done soon. Gaeri PMed me and said she would be on to make her pick at around 3:30 board time, which is pretty soon.


ATTENTION!!! ATTENTION!!! All GMs, read the following:

I am putting a rule into effect now. If you are on the clock for 24 hours and have not made your decision, I will make your pick for you. I will not give you the worst pilot, but I probably won't give you the best. Except for rare cases, I WILL NOT accept a list of pilot from you and do the drafting for you. Like I said last round, you guys signed up for this, see it through to the end. If, for some reason you're going to miss a period of time here and are afraid you'll miss your pick, hire a Co-GM to help you out. Just let me know, via PM, who the Co-GM is and they can draft for you. If you do not inform me, then the pick will not stand.

Sounds fair to me. By the way, I feel we should get confirmation from JYA before the second pick is made in case he changed his mind about a high second rounder (if you already got confirmation, Corran, just ignore this)

Hey all, sorry for the delay, let's get things started.

Some of you were probably muttering under your breaths, "Come on, Gaeri, you've got the number one pick, just pick the best Jedi already!" And everyone has their own idea of the best Jedi is.

But I am so torn! Last draft, the choice was basically made for me (thanks JYA...), but I see such good qualities to two of the Jedi pilots. One is my favorite Jedi of all time, and one is the best Jedi for this draft. So hard to give up a chance with one, but since I have to make a choice...



Gaeri selects Jedi Pilot Corran Horn as her first round pick of the Second 2003 Starfighter Draft.



Of all the Jedi available, Corran Horn stands out as the only one who is pilot first, Jedi second. He led Intruder Squadron to a victory in the First Annual Starfighter Draft, and I feel I owe Corran the chance to defend his title. Look out, all.
