I agree with ES lets get this thing started. At least post the draft order and the characters we can draft so we can get an idea of who may be able to get with our first pick.

I don't think the top three should get to keep 2 of their players either even if one isn't allowed to be the second round pick. I still think it gives them too much of an advantage. They should be on pretty much equal footing with the rest of us other than having the top three picks. But that is just my opinion.

it does not put any one at a disavantage .because its equal in terms of not picking our second strongest player.if we pick a low round pick of ours.thats totally fair.we are not stack .and hold no true advantage over no one.the last 2 players deserve something like that .we made it that far. i am not saying we can keep our second rouders.from our 3 rounder down .we should be able to keep one player.and sit out that round he was chosen in last draft.that is fair .me and madine made it the farthest .and should get a small reward.we talked about that in the early parts of this draft .so it is fair.it was expected .i just tweeked it a little so it would be fair.

The draft will begin shortly. I will be posting the draft order and the list of contestants within a few moments.

Congratulations to Gen_Madine for winning the first annual draft, and to Effortless_Skill for coming in second. Mr. Sith was a close third, and as such each has secured a spot in this draft, as well as the first 1-3 picks respectively, as well as one other player from their team that was originally drafted in rounds 3-6. Whatever round your retained player was drafted in, you will forfeit that rounds pick this time through. GM, ES, and MS please PM me the names of the Jedi you will retain.

The list of names will be up shortly.

Technically, the first draft/tournament is not over yet.

Horax (and possibly Jansen, depending on the second judge's decision) has yet to post his team battle judgment for The Finals, and yet to announce the winner and the runnre-up and second-runner up. Even thought we all know the answer, we all can do math, the particulars have not been completed.

So as soon as that is all taken care of, I say lets get this one started for the weekend. Although, again, I wouldn't mind, as I am sure others would not either, that a few weak links like Callista, Jocasta Nu and Coleman Trebor are replaced by Jedi who actually can fight.... just an idea...

    see you all soon

    On with the draft!

I can hunt some down, but how much information should be available on a jedi/sith to make them a worthy contender?

To they need to be in a book or movie? What if they are just listed in some bio?

In any event here are three names to consider. The first two fall under the "im not sure there is enough info to suffice". The third I think is a keeper and should have been in the first one.

    1)_Vodo-Siosk-Baas -- Kun's Jedi master
    2) Arca Jeth- UQD's master
    3) Vergere- NJO time era...

You could put Tarados Gon, Roth-Del Masona, and Joclad Danva on the list. They all made it to the final circle in AOTC although Danva is dead in some shots and alive in others. There isn't much info on them though.

You also have the Sarissa Jeng the "Hiyah" jedi female from AOTC.

Sirch Fi'ek one of the Nikto Jedi.

You could put Kar Vastor from Shatterpoint on the list although he isn't a jedi or sith and has no force training.

    I wasn't clear...

The first two don't have any individual bio in starwars.com (maybe in some sort of guide they do, don't know?) but are just mentioned in passing in someone else's bio... is that okay?

Vasor sounds like another Nu - useless here. OR even worse, Callista.

The more info on people the better, otherwise it is a useless player, an instant loss.

"You could put Kar Vastor from Shatterpoint on the list although he isn't a jedi or sith and has no force training. "

Sounds to me that Vastor has no training, no ability. He just is. How is he not a liability?
