O.C, CA Second Annual Disneyland Star Wars Fan Day - June 25, 2006

The time has come to get things moving for the Second Annual event! I just put up the website a little bit earlier than I originally planned, but we're starting the New Year off with the first bits of info on the event!

We are sooo excited about this. The last one, had and absolute BLAST at!

The Website looks awsome (ok, so we are having a bit of fun with the shirt design..but that's us at Santa Cruz, you know we just can't take ANYTHING seriously, especially ourselves)

But, it's great that this is going to be a yearly event and that we can help out a charity at the same time.

Let us know when Shirts go on sale... we are ready and waiting with PayPal in hand!

sorry to ask this but

How much are tickets?
is it regular normal day tickets or a special group tickets.

please let me know, so i can tell my friends.

oh, and should we dress up or come normal?

 

Disneyland does not allow you to dress in costume, though we had a few try to push the envelope last year. But you risk getting kicked out of the park if you do that.

Did you go to the site on the link? There is something there about group rate tickets:

"Is there anything planned as far as discount tickets?
- Depending on the response we get from the T-Shirt sales, we might look into getting group rate discounts for everyone. However, we're not sure Disney would fly for it. you might also try asking a Annual Passholder if they have any ticket discounts at the time you're planning to buy yours. Also, it's a well known fact that you can save money on tickets by buying them through the Disneyland website."

 

He did say normal....Which in Lorie case being dress as a Jedi is normal ....So Lorie wear a costume and be a tourist.

 

I do not dress as a Jedi, normally. I just like to wear my lightsaber , but I'm not as obsessive about it as Smudge is!

Have you actually managed to get one of those shirts Rob? Irene got me one when she went to Florida with her brother. She says "I don't know if you'll like this or not" as she hands it to me. I was so overjoyed it wasn't even funny. I almost wore it last year, but we had shirts for that day so I wore the "official" shirt instead.

 

Oh! you can get them at the star wars site but you have to be a member.
So, I'll order one and some other stuff next week.....Payday!
Since, I am working on my lates project...money is tight until Friday!

Hey, it's Jen from LAFF. Just letting people know that the Disney admission prices went up again. It's now $59 for regular one day park admission. But the 2fer deal is going to start up again very soon...i think in a week or so..which is still 59 dollars but you get in DCA another day for free. Also check Vons and other grocery stores for cheap tickets, and the Disney store as well, I think.

As I said in the meeting, Britt is working on updating the site. As soon as that change is made, then we will start updating everything else. We have to start at the source, or people will just be confused.
