The Second Ventura County Fan Force Meeting will be:

When: Saturday, November 23, 2002

Where: Applebee's in Camarillo (In the Target shopping center off the 101)

I don't know if I'm more excited for the meeting or for the free Applebee's apple crisp coupon I have... but either way I'll be there.

P.S. Garrett do you go to ACHS?

 

No. I go to THS@MC (the High School at Moorpark College - long explanation involved, if you're interested let me know). Do you go ACHS?

I graduated from ACHS... don't worry you're not missing anything. Actually I didn't find out about the high school thing at Moorpark until I was going to college there, but had I known I probably would have gone there too.

By the way I think we have a new member joining us. My best friend was supposed to e-mail GentelBant and confirm but I'm not sure if he's had a chance yet... he's in the process of moving right now. He'll be at the meeting though.

At least there's people that are interested! I'm sure that soon, this will be a thriving FanForce metropolis, and that all other FanForce chapters will bow down before us, the FanForce capitol of the world! Mwahahah!

 

Keep up the good work. When I first started as CR for Orange County we were only having 3-4 members making the meetings. Now we are having about 9-10 per meeting. Just give it time and take baby steps. It takes a little while, but once you all get it up and going it all worth the hard work everyone puts into it.

Also if you need any help or advice feel free to ask me. I'll try my best. My best advice though is this. You have an awesome RSA in MJF. She has alot of great ideas and was instrumental in help me get OC off to the races. She is great when it comes to giving advice to those of us that need her help.

 

I completely agree with you about MJF. She was very helpful in the creation of this forum, and in helping us get here! All hail MJF!

FYI - I will be going to New Mexico to take care of some personal business from Wed. Nov. 20th - Mon. Nov. 25th. I will still check the boards daily while I am gone. But if something comes up and you need immediate assistance, please contact Voiddancer, (Bill) the RSA for the Southwestern Region. You can find him on the Phoenix Arizona FanForce boards.

Before I leave I will be sure to post your meeting information on the main fanforce boards.

I think GentleBant said somewhere around 6? I'm not exactly sure myself. It will be GentleBant, bluerincon, and myself for sure...but I'm not sure of the rest. I believe one other person is also attending...but for all I know, that could be you! I'm sure GentleBant will post with more...after all, she is our Rep and most organized!

 

Hey my friend and I run an independent magazine and this issue was our Star Wars issue. Should I bring some copies for you guys to the meeting?
