Wash, DC Secret Santa Sign-up

Our Christmas/holiday/life day/whatever party is December 19. If you are attending and you want to participate in the Secret Santa gift exchange, post your intent to do so here. Also post a few ideas about what you might want to help out whoever may get your name. The deadline to sign up is November 21.

Possible Ideas for gifts:

1. Anything that has to do with St. Bernards...

2. The movie, 'Free Enterprise' (if you can find it, preferably DVD)

3. The Animated Clerks series DVD

 

November 21 is not a meeting date, do you really think we ever plan that far ahead? I just picked that date out of my head because it is approximately one month before the party and should give everyone plenty of time to get shopping.

We may end up having a meeting that weekend as it was one of the possible dates for a TTT DVD party. But that is for another thread...

 

hello I work that day but will probably be able to get off early unless the party is in the afternoon ten maybe not. So depending on th time I will be there. And I am throwing in my hat for the secret santa.

Price limit is a good question. I can't remember what it was last year.

 

Well, how about 15-20? About the price for a music CD or a cheap DVD...

 

Definitely no more than $20. I would say $15 sounds good. If anyone else has thought on it, please say so.

There aren't really any restrictions on the gift, as long as it is appropriate to FF guidelines since it is an official FF event. It does not have to be a SW gift, although the fact that everyone here likes SW makes it easier to shop.

However, its been proven that GS activities don't always conform to FF guidelines.

Won't be participating in the Secret Santa as my plans for the holidays already cost about $1,500 and I should really start watching my budget

Which reminds me that I haven't officially signed up. So I will. I have no idea what I want though. I'll have to give it a little more thought.

I'll PM everyone with names Monday. I can't really think of a way to do it without knowing who has me, but I figure whoever gets me can trade or whatever.
