Sedgefield Charity Gig *Grand Total £850.66 raised*

Yes guys, it's that time again. The all important Spike charity gig that goes towards my degree.

This year, I, along with 3 ladies this time, are putting on a live band event (again), but this time at Sedgefield Cricket Club, in County Durham. It's a lot less organised this time round, given that I'm the only one who knows what they're doing, but we've just submitted our event planning document, so I thought I'd better get it posted here.

This year, our charity is the James Cook Hospital Holistic Ward, Middlesbrough. Chosen because they helped treat another of my group's parent. I've been in contact with Rebel Legion's Event Co-ordinator over the past few weeks, and I'm going to get on to the 99th to see if they would like to get involved (at GMEX, Venom expressed an interest in participating).

I'm hoping that we can get some costumers involved, as we did last year. Nige's idea for Travelling Man on Saturday inspired me to think that we could charge a pound or something for people to get their photos taken with our costumers, and from that we could add to the charity fund we'll already be collecting through other means.

Of course, if anyone has any ideas for the event, please let me know.

Im gonna start asking about transport for the event ?

 

OK guys, the event is in 9 days ( ) so we need to get planning in earnest. Transport is a main issue, since Sedgefield is kind of out of the way from everywhere. (Believe me, even I'm having issues with getting there)

Im happy if people want to come to my house as a 'staging post' and I can then do the run through to Sedgefield if it helps any?

As for piccies at the event, I dont think everyone will want to take part, but Im sure the regulars (looking at Nige) will oblige, including myself.

 

Im waiting to hear back from Chris (Spike_Thimd) with regards to Transport from us in the Boro area.
