    I'm just trying to count if there have been more mods hired since then giving up info than mods prior to that point, as well as whether LFL had nothing up their sleeves past Episode III.

    I will say, UK Sullustian had a good idea for "Mod Squad Bingo"

    The only thing that's missed, for me anyhow, are the banners. Man, even the ones I hated, I miss seeing those.

    I'd like to thank Juliet (and kill her) as I was up 'til 3 am rereading that thread.

    Some great quotes in there, especially from AYBABTU, gabe, Q_G_J23, DA, epic, Dingo, JayPee, but I'd have to say the thread MVPs were BobTheGoon and Doright...

    Oh man, so many useless names from the past. Shara_82 and Hawk_NC (more like DawkNC). Jeff and Tracy (I just imagine a sniffle of wounded pride for each and every YodaJeff post I read).

    But the point about mods not resigning because it meant giving up their power... yeah. That one.

    From what I remember, it wasn't handled very well though. It was basically just presented to the administration as a fait accompli, and people's concerns re:security weren't properly being addressed. I remember being pretty sympathetic to MS at the time.

    It did turn out not to be a big deal itself, but the execution was poor. And I did actually like some of the mods we lost through that. jp, PoT, I think Carmen was one of them too...

    I missed out on WiseGate because I needed to focus more on my senior year at high school. I wouldn't mind being 17 again, though.
