[SENATE] Focus Group actually delivers!

I often wonder what would have happened if Sape had not been allowed back. I feel badly (or perhaps egotistically) that I helped force Grilled-Sarlacc into retirement, but I'm genuinely curious what would have happened at the top with no G-S, no Sape, etc.

I also find the thread hilarious now, in retrospect, though I'm glad you pointed out the gabe post, as that one one of his best ever posts. Thread MVPs though, still BobTheGoon and Doright.

 

Man, Red-Seven was hands down the best mod I ever knew.

You probably did, and now that you mention it I have a vague recollection of being just as surprised. Sometimes I have to 'discover' things for myself in order for them to sink in.

Eh... there's nothing wrong with that. There are a couple of sites I visit on a 'read-only' basis. As long as the lurker isn't collecting names and stalking, I see no harm in it.

I lurk in gold for home games, in purple for away games & in black during the offseason.

I joined briefly that August. I was only 12 at the time. Teens seem to have a much harder time fitting into an online community because they haven't really developed their mindset yet in regards to political/religious beliefs and whatnot. I just didn't think it would've been a good idea.

 

Interesting. My posts have improved substantially since I've avoided 'senate-ish' topics and maintained a good streak of goofball posts. Doesn't mean I don't have the occasional moment of brilliance or intelligence to bring to the fore, but mostly I've brought it down to posts like thus....

I posted as a teenager and thoroughly embarrassed myself. I will arbitrarily label it a rite of passage, like losing one's virginity or eating ramen as a poor college student or a first drive-by shooting.

 

On the other hand, Suzuki Akira was always a tremendous poster, even in his youth.
