Loved that Anakin had to talk some sense into Sabe. Awww, he might be a gruff guy every once in awhile, but when it counts, he always comes through. And it's clear that he loves Padme dearly.

Oh Force, this is getting crazier and crazier...and I love every second! Anakin drunk? hehehe, I *do* hope he doesn't make any "improper" passes at his wife!!! The ropes are certainly an interesting bit...I wonder what in the galaxies Padme has gotten herself into...

 

*runs in and drops everything on the floor* Hello, everyone! I mannaged to sneak in for a little.

A whopping big thanks to Veme- she sent out PM's though I didn't ask it of her . That totally made my day.

As for the ropes, there isn't anything sick and twisted- I just decided to spice things up a little. It is a tradition for a Knight and a Handmaiden to be chosen... and they are tied together by the arm and forced to spend the day together for symbolism's sake. Unfotunately, the couple are going to take advantage of this and make each other do a billion things they'd otherwise never do... hence a lot of scrapping and embrarrasment.

Next post coming next monday!

A hilarious chapter! I couldn't stop laughing when Anakin entered the drinking contest:

?Anakin!? Obi-Wan cried out, having realized that it was his friend who had taken on the challenge. ?What in blazes are you doing??

Ignoring him, Anakin accepted the first shot and downed it with closed eyes. Momentarily, he shuddered but then opened his bright eyes with such a fervor in them that Padmé had no doubt that he would win.

This "rope" thing doesn't sound too good when Anakin's drunk and Padme's... well... not drunk...

I mean, Anakin entered a drinking contest to become the Knight who escorted the Handmaiden...who he knew was Padme, which is the person he's supposed to hate most in the world...what will the married couple think?

Anakin drunk! I think that's great. At least he's a nice and funny drunk and not mean. I wonder what he said to Sabe? It must have been nice because a while ago Sabe hated him. When AF asked if I could do this favor for her how could I not comply. I love this fic as much as everyone else and I knew we wouldn't last if we had to wait any longer for the update. So being a great humanitarian (and friend) I had to end our suffering by posting the update and sending out PM's-which let me just say isn't as easy as it would seem! Truth told I'd do it all again if I had to though .

(Now I'm off to drive a drunken Anakin home . Don't worry, I promise to bring him back for the next update...)

Well, just in case any of you were about to get jealous, I had the most low key and boring Spring Break ever. I even composed a song about it!

See, wasn?t that lovely?! I know I need to work on the rhyming and such, but at least it?s a start.

Well, I decided to go see a couple of movies- Pan?s Labyrinth and Museum. Pan?s was so gross and weird- I covered my eyes and plugged my ears. Museum was much better- gotta love Luke Wilson!

Heeeeee! A semi-drunk Anakin and a full-drunk Padme. I don't know what it says about me that I found that quite amusing!

I love the way they act together. On the surface, they are fiery and sharp, yet underneath it all, there is such devotion and love there that it makes me feel all gooey. *happy sigh* I adore this story.

I CANNOT wait to see what happens next. Part of me wants to beg for a sneak peek, but another part of me wants to wait it out so I can read the chapter in its entirety... Hmmm.. Talk about a dilemma!
