Char, NC Separatists Gatherin' - October 28th

Saturday, Sept. 28th.
Windsor Square Park --
Chicken n Biscuits. We all have a picnic outing lunch together, and we each bring a certain food/beverage.

We still need to agree on a time for this and who brings what.

Now, as for directions --
If you exit off of 74 coming from Charlotte onto Highway 51, make sure you're heading left (towards the Burger King and Papa Johns and Lowes). Cross 74 and then, the first light after the overpass will be where you need to head. Turn left at that light on the newly built street and go past the first light. Eventually to your left will be Windsor Square Park. Turn onto the gravel parking lot and go to the end of the park. We'll be underneath the eating area.

And now, about times - Eric and Cheryl have made it known that evenings are better for them, as they are myself. So... we need to decide on a time. Ideas?

Seriously, if we could get all of us at one meeting, that would be so cool. I'd be so psyched for it

 

Hate to reiterate here... but I can't do it on that day. For the next six weeks or so, Saturdays are completely out for me. It's weddin' shootin' season! If we got together really early like noon or something on Saturday I could show up for a bit, but I'll be working by six.

If anyone wants to do stuff during the week like get dinner, or on Sunday, I'm in, but I just stinkin' can't do anything on Saturdays until November. This working six days is getting really old....

 

6 would be okay, but 7 would be better. Other than that, don't see why I couldn't make it. Just need directions.

I'm going to forewarn you guys that I was just informed I may have to go to Alabama this weekend... my grandmother is ill or something along those lines, and she lives on her own. I'm enjoying how events turn out

But I'm planning on bringing some drinks & cups. Any preferences?

And who'll brings chips, chicken, etc?

 

I guess I can bring chips...how much will we need?

Should we each bring our own chicken, or should someone buy it all and everyone chip in?

Tracy said she'll be there, if I'm not mistaken. Myself and Greg just talked about that. And the timing will be longer, most likely.. but everyone will be showing up between 6-7.

I have a cold but I should still be there unless I get a whole lot sicker before tomorrow. I'll bring something--what do you guys want? More chicken? Brownies?

Also, do we still want to do this if it rains or do we want to postpone?

 

I say, if it's raining, we head over to McAlister's.

If this is a time that most of us can be there, I'd rather not postpone.
