I missed this somewhere in the discussion...where are we meeting?

 

Okay, scratch that last question. It's been a long week, plus it's way too freakin early to be awake on a Saturday morning, but I decided to re-read the first post.

James, remember your directions may be fine for everyone who lives on Southside, but for me up here by Concord, I have no idea how to even get to 74, much less 51 or what new road you are referring to.

 

Hey JediDad- do you know how to get to Independence Boulevard? That's highway 74. If not, take 85 S to 77 S, look for the Brookshire Freeway (highway 277) exit. Go left when the ramp splits, and look for the Independence Blvd. exit. Keep on Independence for a while- don't think you've gone too far, it's a ways down- and look for the signs for highway 51. It's an overpass directly past Prime Sirloin. The rest of James's directions should get you there.

Last time I checked, at McAlister's.

Yeah, he showed up like 10 min before my shift was up...anyway, he and a friend of his (Luke) are planning on coming.

Oh, and I bought the chips!

With that, no gory details needed, Eric. I've taught school long enough to deal with a few of those "issues" myself--and on a much milder level than what the parent of the child deals with.
