I'm bringin' the grill, charcoal, chips. I'll also throw come ice in a cooler and haul it along.

My brother is bringing some hamburgers.

Everybody list what they need here so other folks will know what they need to bring. I don't mean to be repititious (sp?), but I like to be somewhat organized! (My wife would say otherwise though!!) :D

We could bring dessert - ice cream or cookies...something like that.

Would anyone be interested in beer? Or should we just stick with the soft drinks?

Tim and I can also pick up a tablecloth and napkins, cups, forks/spoons unless someone else is bringing them....I can't remember. I just worked three 12-hour shifts in a row and my brain quit functioning about 4 hours ago, LOL!

Well, the beer question is a good one, Trace. Are we gonna have any underage fans at this meeting? I guess...hmmm...I don't mind, I know that much. I guess we can just play that by ear...use your own judgement kinda thing. Maybe BYOB?

I don't care if it is brought, but I don't know if there is anybody who might bring their kids and might not want them around that. I don't really know. It might be wise to just stick with soft drinks until after a couple of meetings. Then we can kind of gauge the crowd. :D

If you want to bring beer its fine by me. I am only 20 so I'm too young but I don't drink anyway.

Alright, here's the list so far:

Chris - grill, charcoal, chips, mayo, mustard
    Steja - drinks, pasta salad
    Smokem - hotdogs, paper plates
Quigon/Trace - ice cream or cookies, plastic
    utensils
Jeremy - burgers, burger buns, cooler with ice

I'll bring all the big utensils for serving and stuff. It looks pretty good. :) If someone could bring lettuce or tomatos(sp?)or some napkins, that would be cool. :D If you want to bring anything else, hey go ahead! If we run out, somebody can make a run to Kroger, it's pretty close!!

Man, I am pumped about Sunday!!! :p

I only want to know one thing. Who's bringing the Mynock stew? [face_laugh] Well I can't wait. This is going to be fun. I had a thought though. Any one got any Star Wars games? That would be cool. We got to have entertainment.

OK- no beer. We'll wait for a private venue for that. Games....games... I'm stumped. How about I bring some droids for us to levitate. Any suggestions? I'm sure a game of "Star Wars Trivial Pursuit" would be a moot point among fans like us. Although, I always, always, get the "Who played the third stormtrooper on the left" questions when Trace and I play. Maybe we should save that for a Ep II DVD release party or something. Hmmm...that sounds like an idea.....

Yeah, I played a star wars trivia game with some friends and just slaughtered them. I was thinking more along the lines of maybe epic duel or something. i got some decks for the SW TCG if anyones interested in that. The EP. II DVD party sounds awesome. I need to get me a DVD player.

AOTC DVD Party!!! Sounds like a November meeting to me!! And that would be our third meeting (if we go with the once a month thing), what a way to become official!!

Qui Gon!! Read my mind about a DVD release party!!! :D Sweet!!

The games sound like a good idea. I'd try the TCG.
The only games I have are Star Wars Trivial Pursuit and Star Wars Monopoly.

SW Trivial Pursuit might be kinda fun. Tim's nephew is the only other person we know that will play and it gets pretty boring with only 2 or 3 people.

OR...Does anyone have any of the new games that came out before Ep. II? I've seen two: one that is something like Battleship and another that is a strategy game of some type.

Did you guys ever see Triumph the Insult Comic Dog that time on Conan O'Brien when he was talking to SW fans waiting in line to see AOTC? A few fans were playing "Stratego" and he was making fun of them...it was hilarious!!

I've got TPM battleship, but it can be frustrating to set up.
I've never played Stratego, but I love to play Risk. :D

Stratego is ok. I love Risk, but for some reason most of my friends just don't get into the game. They should come out with a star wars risk, takeing over planets instead of countries.
