Also instead of just trivia maybe we could have a few other games there as well. I have star wars trivia (as well as the DVD edition)and star wars monopoly. And they dont have to be star wars games. I also have Lord of the Rings trivia, Lord of the Rings risk. And many other fun board games. Maybe I could just bring a few, then we have a variety of games to play or choose from.

 

We've done Star Wars LIFE a couple of times, hence the jokes about Jedi Skillz.

sounds good to me. if we're thinking weekend, I'm good for saturday the 22nd, but i'm outta town the following weekend. i'm usually good for evenings on weekdays, but not for too long. I work at UPS in the wee hours of the morning and need my beauty sleep

 

22nd could work. But not during the BYU football game. Or not till a little while later because I have to help clean the stadium after the game.

Oh, traffic shouldnt be bad after i'm done cleaning. And besides to avoid the traffic I could just walk. Well, depending on where the activity would be. But it is always somewhere close to campus

 

yeah, sound's like we've got the activity and the date(?) squared away, we just need a place....

 

Uhhhhh, I don't recall having voted for either activity or date, so how can we have it "squared away"?

 

I'm still waiting for replies on if the 3rd weekend is better or a weekday during the last week of the month...

Just so one person doesn't end up bringing 50 games, why doesn't everyone bring their favorite or 2 favorite games and we can have another game night?

Edit: Dana, yeah, we'll vote on which night is best since I can't make it to the default night. Speaking of which. The 4th Friday OR Saturday of each month -- is that still a good default time for everyone?

Since I'm usually home by 7 or 7:30, anyway, just about any night's good for me. Except Thursdays. And Mondays.

I would prefer it not to be this weekend because my favorite Italian film is being shown at the International Cinema for the first time and I wanted to go to the Saturday night showing. If necessary, I can go to the friday night one.

 

Any night is good for me, so whatever works for everyone else. My schedule is pretty solid now, so it should make it easy for me to finally be able to come to activities

And I think that since everyone is already used to the 4th Friday or Saturday of each month thing, it should stay that way (except on occasion, like if that doesnt work and everyone agrees on a different date, as it seems you have done in the past) Enough of me sounding stupid trying to explain Just keep doing it the way you have been

 

Last month, it was only different because a friend was coming into town and really wanted to go to a Fanforce meeting here.

 

If we do it next weekend, then it can be on Friday. Fridays still are considered part of the weekend, right?

I've made a doctrinal change. They now make up the month of May and the regular days don't count.

Either day works for me. I'm free after 1:30 both days

 

Wednesday would work best for me, since Tuesday is the NCIS premiere. But I can tape it if we have an activity that night.
