Spring, MO September Meeting...

It looks like I do have to work on the 30th, so I will probably miss all of ANH, and probably some of Empire I get off at 4:30ish, so will be there 5:15-5:30ish. Anything in particular you'd like me to bring Susan? A chair or floor pillow in addition to food perhaps?

 

Hm...if you particularly want to sit on the floor you're more than welcome to. I've got the two couches, three bar stools, recliner, and a variety of folding chairs, office chairs, etc. I think somebody suggested bring-your-own-bowl for the popcorn, though.

 

I'm really hoping to be able to make it to this one!
I might even be persuaded to make cookies if I am able to come and have time

 

Did I hear cookies being mentioned?

Appetizers? I don't know how to make those. I only know main courses.

 

Frank, Just take the main course and make it into smaller bite size pieces and that should work fine. LOL!

 

Frank, feel free to bring whatever you want. It doesn't need to be fancy or extravagant was all I was getting at!

 

I hope Scott's directions were VERY detailed. Maybe some of us should come early and we can wave flashlights at certain points so he knows he's on the right path. LOL! Hee hee...I crack myself up.

 

I wonder if he would do alright if I let him follow me.

And do you guys like oatmeal raisin cookies?
I'm stiil gonna try to make some I have a recipe that is over 150 years old from Scotland
If not oatmeal raisin how bout chocolate chip? Let me know

I am more of a chocolate chip fan but majority rules and I'll eat either. It really comes down to which you would rather make.

 

Rachel, I am so glad you will be able to make it and Scott and Claire and Frank. Wow! We are going to have a full house (or Susan is).
I say make whatever you prefer. I like both and I am sure they will get eaten whatever kind you make.

 

I am with Frank. I love chocolate chip, but not really a fan of raisins. But really make what you like...


And if I could get a rough idea of who is coming and what you are bringing so I can narrow down what I am bringing...

Dajuan we could always both bring cookies, just two different kinds. I think I am going to make oatmeal raisin so I can leave some at home to keep my dad happy (they're his fav cookie).

 

Ack, got my people mixed up. I'll figure something out.

 

Chips are always a good standby...esp. for a meeting that is going to last as long as this one...
